MATH MONTH
CULMINATING ACTIVITY 2024

Presenting to you the winners from different activities in math month including rubiks, math meme, poster and slogan, mathira mathibay, mathinik, tower of hanoi and math jingle activities. Culminating Activity, February 05, 2024 with the theme: "Playing with Math"

Palmanians, we appreciate all of your efforts participating in each activities. Thank you for sharing us your knowledge, creativity and talent by joining in each game making an enjoyable month for each and everyone. Explore more and learn more.

MATH JINGLE CONTEST

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to all JCMPSHS students.
2. Participants may form a group of 5 -10 members combination of different section or same section. Interested participants may submit their entry (group name and members' names) to the assigned mathematics club officer(s) on or before February 5, 2024.
3. The melody may be adapted from existing commercially released songs.
4. The performance on stage including intro and outro is strictly 5 minutes. Every minute exceeding the time limit will be deducted from the over all score. (5 points per minute).

The top three (3) contestants will be declared winners and will be awarded during the awards ceremony.

The judges' decision is final.

Criteria for Judging:

Musicality (40%)
Mastery: 20%
Intonation and Diction: 20%

Presentation (60%)
Accuracy to the theme: 20%
Creativity of the lyrics: 20%
Choreography and style: 10%
Costumes: 10%

Total: 100%

Rubiks cube Competition

10 students showed their solving skills and speed during our Rubiks cube Competition held today, January 9, 2024 at the stage of JCMPSHS. Congratulations to everyone who participated in our activity and to those in-charge on the event.

MATH MEME CONTEST

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to all JCMPSHS students. Only one entry per student.
2. Participants must create their meme by using a template or their own uploaded picture.
3. Students that will participate can send their entry through form that will be provided and must be submitted on or before the given deadline.
4. All submitted entries will be posted on the math club page. ( Only the haha reaction will be counted for points, any reactions and shares will be disregarded. Mentioning of names in the comment section will be deducted.)
5. The three(3) chosen entries with the most highest score will be announce as winners.
