Sa kanyang pahayag sa 'Women Forging the Digital Future' ng Samahan ng mga Pilipina para sa Reporma at Kaunlaran (SPARK) Philippines nitong Marso 15, hinihikayat ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang kababaihan na samantalahin ang mga benepisyo sa paggamit ng digitalization sa kanilang career at kabuhayan.

Dagdag niya pa, nakakatulong ang paggamit ng teknolohiya para ma-access ng kababaihan ang mga healthcare services, lalung-lalo na ang mga nakatira sa malalayong lugar.

Ipinalabas ang State of the Women Address ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte kung saan kanyang inilahad ang estado at ng mga napagtagumpayan ng QC LGU para sa kababaihan sa larangan ng edukasyon, kalusugan, pangkabuhayan, at kaligtasan. Kasama rin sa pagdiriwang na ito ang mga kabilang sa LGTBQIA+ sector.

As part of our National Women's Month campaign , Oxfam Pilipinas together with the Philippine Commission on Women and Eastwood City present “Babae ang Bukas: Conversations on Women.”

The event aims to raise the need to urgently act on the challenges and issues women and girls are continuously facing and exacerbated by the pandemic, as well as the important roles of women in nation building and development.

The event is open to the public and will be held at the Eastwood Mall Atrium on March 18, 2023 (Saturday) | 4:00-6:30 PM

This March, Women's Month, is widely regarded as a time to celebrate and acknowledge the major contributions that women have made to society. This month-long commemoration strives to improve the intuitive grasp of women's battles for equality and their rights.

The GAD CLUB, together with its officers, aims to raise awareness for a wider cause and to give honor to one of the modern heroes of today.
