HAPPENING NOW: The UP Pre-Medical Society (PMS) marked its 70th anniversary with Lifelines: Medicine as a Pathway of Connections, Life, and Urgency, a one-day medical convention held on May 9, 2026, at the UP School of Statistics Auditorium, UP Diliman.

The event features a lineup of speakers and panelists drawn from a broad range of medical disciplines, including licensed general practitioners, specialized physicians, and medical students who shared their personal journeys and professional insights with the audience.

Among the sessions are discussions on medico-legal practice in the Philippines, sports medicine and orthopedics, underscoring the convention's theme of medicine as a web of interconnected pathways.
