In celebration of Women’s Month and in support of gender equality and women empowerment, students are allowed to wear purple civilian clothes every Wednesday throughout March. Purple symbolizes justice, dignity, and equality — values upheld by the university.

Please note that this is only applicable on Wednesdays. On other days, students must wear their Type C uniform, Path Fit attire, or any TUA-branded shirt and pants, as per the Guidelines on Relaxed Uniform Policy.

In anticipation of the rising heat index and in our commitment to the well-being of our employees and students, the University will implement a relaxed uniform policy effective 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, and until further notice.

This policy aims to provide a more comfortable environment during the hot summer months.

• 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Minimize exposure to direct sunlight and strenuous physical activity outdoors, particularly during peak heat hours.

• 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀: Take advantage of the extended library hours to remain in a cool, indoor environment until the weather cools down in the late afternoon or evening. (The extended library hours are provided to offer students a safe and comfortable space during the hottest parts of the day.)

• 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀: For hydration purposes, we encourage everyone to bring your own reusable tumblers instead of relying on plastic-bottled water. This supports both your personal hydration and our environmental sustainability efforts.

We urge all of you to prioritize your health and safety, stay hydrated, and take the necessary precautions to protect yourselves from the heat.
