𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡. 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗧. 🕊️📜

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀. It is made up of real experiences, voices, struggles, and lessons that continue to shape our nation.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭, 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟮, Ferdinand Marcos signed Proclamation No. 1081, placing the Philippines under Martial Law. This period became a significant and painful chapter in our history, marked by restrictions on civil liberties, censorship, arrests, and the experiences of countless Filipinos.

As we look back on this chapter, may we take time to 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 what happened. Remembering history is not about living in the past—it is about carrying its lessons into the present and future.

Let us continue to listen to the stories of those who experienced it, recognize the value of truth and human rights, and ensure that the lessons of history are never lost.

The contest was held at 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙧. 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, where the team emerged as the 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙄𝙊𝙉 in the 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 – 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩, 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙄𝙄! 🗣️

Known as the “𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬,” Ramon Magsaysay stood out for his 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘦 dedication to serving ordinary Filipinos. Did you know that 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫-𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨 was known as the “𝗜𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮”?

She was called as 𝑰𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒔𝒊𝒂 because of how 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 she is, the 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 she has, and 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙥 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙚 she has especially when it comes to 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯! 💸⚖️

“𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆; 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒕.” 🌟

💡 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚊!
𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫-𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨 was also the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 and 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 to be elected as 𝑱𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 in the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 (𝐈𝐂𝐂) way back Dec 2011. 👩🏻‍⚖️ She even won with 79 votes out of 104 valid votes! ⚖️

She resigned from her position in June 2014 due to her illness, 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒆 𝒔𝒚𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒆. Later on she was also diagnosed with Lung Cancer Stage 4 which she bravely fought for two years! ⚔️ Proving how 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 and 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆 she is! ❤️‍🔥💫

Even to this day, many Filipinos still remember her legacy as one of the 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 our county has ever had. 💙 She didn't just serve as Senator— she 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 us what a Senator/Public Service 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 be! 🇵🇭✨

Teachers aren't just the ones who stand in front of the class, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀. Behind every reminder and every patient explanation is 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🏅📖
