At Manuel Roxas High School, on November 19, 2025 —The English Club, led by Ma'am Michelle S. Maglalang and Sir Ian S. Francisco, hosted a thrilling event that brought together students in a celebration of 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙪𝙣! ✨

The Amazing Race event was a resounding success, with participants enjoying an unforgettable experience— As the event came to a close, students left with big smiles, already looking forward to the next adventure.

And the winners of the AMAZING RACE who showcased their full cooperation and creativity for the event are..... 🥁🥁🥁

✨ 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵! ✨

The grade 11 student explored the topic: "𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆" while "𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈?" was the question given to grade 12. 🎤

The contestants were evaluated by judges Ms. Jenifer Baquiran, Mrs. Michelle Maglalang, and Ms. Joannah Rosewanny Riego. Each contestant delivered a well-prepared and thoughtful speech, demonstrating unique approaches to speaking naturally and confidently in front of an audience. 🎤📖🤍😊

𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈? 🤪 Well, not in MRHS!

In our school, we get a chance to develop not just our academic skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking, but also our 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹s. After reading some books, we can also have fun playing the different boardgames found at our 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑! 📖 😍

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 7 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲!

On November 6, our Grade 7 learners took over the AVR of Manuel A. Roxas High School for the 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙚𝙚! With easy, moderate, and difficult rounds, everyone got the chance to showcase their spelling skills. 🐝📚

The event was led by Mrs. Eden T. Lorena Domasian and Mrs. Lonevie L. Cobarrubias, with support from the English Club Officers. Students stayed confident and focused throughout all three rounds, and each correctly spelled word showed their growing love for English. ✏️🐝

Congratulations to all participants for giving their best, and to the winners who shone in the final round! ☺️

✨𝗕𝗲 𝑾𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆! ✨

The 𝑪𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑽𝑰𝑻𝒀 of the grade 8 learners was challenged by their English teachers Mrs. Tabangcura and Mrs. Buslig as they had a classroom-based competition called “𝑾𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝑾𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀” during their English classes. Each learner was given the freedom to create a witty line in the form of a quotation or words of wisdom.
