2nd Preparatory Meeting
For the Pura Academy 70th Grand Alumni Homecoming
Attendance: The batches represented during the meeting were: 1962, ’70, ’73, ’76, ’77, ’80, ’82, ’83, ’84, ’85, ’88, ’89, ’90, ’91, ’92, ’95, ’96, ’97, ’98, 2001, ’06, ’14, ‘15
Highlights:
Most of the suggested activities have been carried by the group. On 22 April 2017, there will be:
1. A Grand Alumni Homecoming to be participated by ALL batches. All batches will have a batch coordinator.
2. Theme: To be determined through a theme-making contest by Pura Academy students, to be chosen by Alumni in 2 weeks
3. 6am Reveille –by the Mendoza Marching Band, logistics and preparations c/o Batch 1984; contact Mr. Joe Mendoza
4. 7am HOLY MASS to be celebrated with Rev. Fr. Pablo S Banag Jr , Class of 1990;
- Physical arrangement c/o Pura Academy
- Assisting Choir: Alumni Choir (Reunion) to be organized by Mr. Nathaniel Nathaniel D. Balmoress Class of 1993

- Route: From Annex Grounds (Poblacion 3) to Mantindeg – Cabayugan (Nilasin 2nd) – Buenavista – San Miguel, Guimba, NE – Galvan – Buenavista – Nilasin 1st – Maasin – Cadanglaan – Maungib – Balite – Linao – Singat – Bawa, Gerona – Matapitap – Estipona – Naya – Pobalcion – Poblacion 2
- Sponsorship of Vehicle(s) for Batches 1949 to 1955 c/o Golden Class (1967) to be coordinated by Ms Jessica Dacayanan, Class of 1988
- T-shirt Color Assignment (can also be used as color for float decorations)
1949 to 1959 – White
1960 to 1969 – Yellow
1970 to 1979 – Violet
1980 to 1989 – Maroon
1990 to 1999 – Blue
2000 to 2009 – Green
2010 onwards – Gray
• Ordering of number and sizes of T-shirts by Batch Coordinator, centralized through assigned Pura Academy focal person
• Annex Ground activities such as snack booths, souvenir items, photo booths can be explored by PTA/ student body

7. 12 noon to Finish Alumni “Pitumpo Salu-Salo” Lunch

- Dance Evolution Presentations to be led by present Pura Academy students and to be participated in by Alumni
