Punta Engaño High School extends our heartfelt gratitude to Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu for the warm invitation and generous opportunity to be part of the International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan celebrations.

We sincerely appreciate the kindness and hospitality extended to our Grade 10 learners, giving them an opportunity to experience not only the beauty and services of the resort but also valuable lessons in culinary, food and beverage service, housekeeping, and hotel operations.

This meaningful experience allowed our learners to gain a deeper appreciation of the hospitality industry, broaden their perspectives, and discover possibilities for their future careers.

🌊🌴💚 A Heartfelt Thank You to Palmbeach Resort Mactan 💚🌴🌊

Punta Engaño High School extends its sincerest gratitude to Palmbeach Resort, Mactan, Cebu for the warm support and generosity extended to our school during the conduct of the IRONMAN 70.3 Lapu-Lapu Triathlon 2026.

We truly appreciate Palmbeach Resort Mactan for allowing our teachers and Junior Emergency Response Team (JERT) members to use your grounds as a temporary resting area, providing chairs where our dedicated volunteers could take a much-needed break during their duty.

More than that, thank you for your thoughtful gesture of complementary drinks that helped keep our teachers and learners refreshed and energized as they carried out their responsibilities.

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ ATM | PEHS MAKES A SPLASH OF SERVICE AT IRONMAN 70.3!

In support of the IRONMAN 70.3 Lapu-Lapu Triathlon 2026 and pursuant to the request of the City Government of Lapu-Lapu, Punta Engaño High School proudly deployed selected teachers and learners this day to assist in the successful conduct of this prestigious sporting event.

Our dedicated teachers and Junior Emergency Response Team (JERT) members were strategically assigned to different areas of responsibility, working together to help ensure the safety, order, and smooth flow of the event.

🔹 Rockwell Area
🔹 Sta. Lucia to Sambagan
🔹 Palm Beach to Balai Residence

Kinikilala ng tema ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 ang magkaugnay na papel ng wikang Filipino at artificial intelligence (AI) para sa makabansang gawain ng pananaliksik. Panawagan ito para sa responsableng paggamit ng AI habang tinitiyak na may makabuluhang espasyo ang Wikang Pambansa sa mga usaping may kinalaman sa mga umuusbong na teknolohiya at kaugnay na usaping pang-etika rito.

Itinuturing ang AI bilang kasangkapan para maiangat pa lalo ang kalidad ng saliksik na inihahandog ng mga Pilipino, unang-una, para sa mga kapuwa Pilipino. Habang kinakasangkapan ang AI, patuloy pa ring tinatahak ng wikang Filipino ang landas ng intelektuwalisasyon na magbubunga ng panloob at panlabas na pagbabago sa bansa. Sa ganitong paraan, kapuwa ang AI at wikang Filipino ay nagiging tulay na gagamitin ng mga Pilipino para sa kanilang pinapangarap na magandang búkas.

REPORT BULLYING!

Last week, adunay nahitabo nga duha ka managlahing kagubot sa mga public schools nga nag-involve og physical tali sa mga students. Usa kini ka serious concern maong kaganihang buntag, nagpatawag kita og emergency meeting kuyog ang DepEd Lapu-Lapu City, Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, ang City Social Welfare and Development ug ang atong mga barangay. Ang urgent nga action plans nga namugna kay ang pagbutang og dugang nga mga tanod ug kapulisan nga magbantay sa matag schools, ato sab gipapun-an sa matag barangay ang CCTV.

Ato sab nasuta nga ang sinugdanan sa mga kagubot kay ang bullying sulod sa school. Nagsugod sa ginagmay nga bully nga maoy hinungdan sa pagkamugna og tensyon ug nisantop sa pisikalay. Maong karon, panawagan nak sa tanang mga students nga isumbong ang mga bullying pinaagi sa tulo ka paagi:

1. Gamit ang OneLapuLapu Super App - pwede na ka makasumbong bisag registered o wala pa ka nagregister sa app.
2. Pwede sab mogamit sa atong City Official Website nga https://lapulapucitygov.ph
3. Pwede sab ka motawag sa atong 911

Mamahimo sab mo mo-report directly sa inyung mga maestra kay aron mapitol dayon sa mga teachers ang panghitabo sa dili pa kini modako. Nagpasalamat ko sa atong mga LLCPO, DepEd, sa CSWDO ug sa atong mga Kapitan nga mihatag gayud og suporta sa atong opisina in behalf of the Lapu-Lapu City Government aron gyud nga maundang ang bullying sa school ug sa samang higayon maundang na pod ang mga kagubot. We will do everything to make every school safe for every Oponganon learners!
