In celebration of Nutrition Month, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Enriqueta Montilla de Esteban Memorial High School (EMEMHS), in partnership with and under the guidance of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department, proudly presents the "Ani ng Kalusugan: Gulayan sa Tahanan Photo Contest." This initiative aims to encourage students, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel to establish and maintain home vegetable gardens as a practical means of promoting healthy eating habits, food security, environmental stewardship, and family involvement.
The contest provides participants with an opportunity to showcase their Gulayan sa Tahanan while inspiring the school community to recognize the importance of growing fresh, nutritious vegetables at home. More than just a photography competition, this activity promotes sustainable gardening, self-sufficiency, and responsible environmental practices. Through the partnership of SSLG and the TLE Department, EMEMHS continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting nutrition, wellness, agricultural awareness, environmental responsibility, and active community engagement.
