The 2025 VAW (Violence Against Women) campaign in the Philippines is the "UNiTEd for a VAW-Free Philippines" 18-Day Campaign, running from November 25 to December 12, 2025. The campaign aims for a whole-of-nation approach to end gender-based violence by involving youth, empowering men as allies, encouraging bystanders to intervene safely, and accelerating the National Action Plan to End Violence Against Women.
We SPTA, mobilize youth to speak out against violence, raise awareness, and actively advocate for a VAW free future.

As part of the SPTA Project "Welfare Advocacy Program" with seventy five (75) and counting scholars. Our school, DepEd Tayo - Sto. Cristo Elementary School is open for those who wish to donate and give for our Christmas Gift Giving for students who need it most. Our donation boxes can be found on the school stage. This donation drive starts November 24 - December 12, 2025. And will be distributed on December 18, 2025. Thank You! ❤️

📣EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS AT SCHOOL ❕
Parents, it's not enough to just be ready. We need to be more prepared❕
Drop, Cover and Hold on is the safest action to take during ground shaking that our children are already know. We encourage you also to provide your child with a whistle and flashlight that he or she can carry at all times in case of emergency, and children's safety inside the room or school's vicinity if possible, you can also provide them with a safety helmet.
🗣️Talk to your children about earthquakes.
📍Spend time with your family discussing how and why earthquakes occur.
📍Explain that an earthquake is a natural event and they are not anyone's fault.
📍Explain to your child what could happen, using simple things that even young children can understand.
📍Outline an earthquake emergency plan for the whole family, with an evacuation plan and meeting location.
📍Emphasise and reassure children that their safety is your utmost priority.
It's not enough to just be ready❕ it's better to be more prepared ❕
