Our Grade 8 learners actively participated in today’s Alternative Learning Mode (ALM) as they studied lessons in Agriculture and Fishery Arts, focusing on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Hazards in Fisheries.

Through their self-paced learning activities, learners explored the different hazards, risks, and safety practices involved in fishery work and aquaculture. 🎣🦺

Despite learning from home, our learners showed responsibility, perseverance, and commitment to learning as they read, studied, took notes, and completed their activities.

On August 13, 2026, our Grade 8 STE and SPJ learners continued their learning through Alternative Learning Mode (ALM) with a creative Photo Composite Challenge: β€œChange the Scene.” πŸ“Έβœ¨

As an alternative to Adobe Photoshop, learners explored Photopea, a web-based photo editing tool that allows them to practice essential image-editing skills even while learning remotely.

🎯 Challenge:
Change the Scene β€” transform an original photograph by placing the subject in a completely different environment using photo compositing techniques.

Through this activity, learners practiced:

βœ‚οΈ Removing and isolating subjects
🎨 Adjusting images for a realistic composition
