🌟 Public Safety Youth Ambassador Workshop

A meaningful and engaging afternoon for our Grade 10 and SHS learners! 💙

Yesterday, August 27, 2026, we successfully held the Public Safety Youth Ambassador Workshop at the EVVDMHS Annex Gym, from 1:00–4:00 PM, with our learners, teachers, and School Principal, Sir Eliseo C. Dela Cruz.

Big thanks to our partners from the PNP, BJMP, and BFP, through the support of Hon. Mayor RJ Peralta, for sharing valuable knowledge and reminders on safety, preparedness, responsible citizenship, and youth leadership. 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️🔥

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Atty. Imee Cruz, Vice Mayor of Pulilan, for generously lending chairs for the activity. Your support means a lot to our school community! ❤️

Together, we can help our learners become responsible, safety-conscious, and empowered young ambassadors! 🙌

A safer school starts with all of us! 💙

Under the leadership of Sir Eliseo C. Dela Cruz, Principal I, Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, in partnership with the Pulilan PNP, held an Anti-Bullying Awareness Campaign and an Active Shooter Simulation Exercise to help keep our school safe and prepared.

🛡️ ALAM N'YO BA?

Mas pinaigting pa ng Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School ang mga hakbang sa seguridad para sa ating mga mag-aaral! 💙

Sa gitna ng mga balitang may kinalaman sa karahasan sa ilang paaralan, nais naming ipabatid sa ating mga magulang at komunidad na hindi kami nagiging kampante. Patuloy naming pinagtitibay ang mga programa at hakbang upang matiyak na ang ating paaralan ay isang ligtas, maayos, at mapayapang lugar para sa pagkatuto.

🛡️ Mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng school gate security at visitor management system.

📝 Lahat ng bisita ay kinakailangang magparehistro sa logbook, mag-iwan ng valid ID, at magsuot ng Visitors' Pass bago makapasok sa paaralan.

🚶 Maayos na sistema ng pagpasok at paglabas ng mga mag-aaral upang maiwasan ang pagsisiksikan sa gate.

🧲 Paggamit ng metal detector at pagsasagawa ng random bag search, alinsunod sa mga alituntunin ng DepEd.

🚫 Pagkumpiska sa mga ipinagbabawal na gamit na maaaring magdulot ng panganib sa loob ng paaralan.

📹 Paglalagay at paggamit ng CCTV cameras sa mga pangunahing bahagi ng paaralan para sa mas epektibong pagmamanman.

🤝 Pagsasagawa ng Psychological First Aid (PFA) upang mabawasan ang pangamba ng mga mag-aaral at maipadama sa kanila na sila ay ligtas at may sumusuporta.

📚 Pagbibigay ng Child Protection at Anti-Bullying sessions sa Homeroom Guidance upang higit na mapaigting ang kultura ng paggalang, malasakit, at responsibilidad.

👥 Regular na pagpupulong ng School Governance Council (SGC) at iba pang kaugnay na komite upang patuloy na mapahusay ang mga programa sa kaligtasan at seguridad ng paaralan.

🙏 Hinihiling din po namin ang inyong pakikiisa. Gabayan natin ang ating mga anak sa tamang asal, paggalang sa kapwa, at pagsunod sa mga alituntunin ng paaralan. Ang ligtas na paaralan ay bunga ng pagtutulungan ng paaralan, pamilya, at komunidad.

Sa Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, ang kaligtasan ng bawat mag-aaral ay hindi lamang prayoridad—ito ay ating sama-samang pananagutan.

Creating a Safe Space for Every Learner

In response to the recent shooting incident in Tacloban City and its possible emotional impact on learners, the Guidance Office of Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, with the full support of School Principal Eliseo C. Dela Cruz, initiated a Psychological First Aid (PFA) session on June 26.

The activity aimed to provide learners with a safe and supportive environment where they could process their emotions, express their thoughts and feelings, and address fears and anxieties brought about by the disturbing news. It also served as a reminder that seeking support is a sign of strength and that no learner has to face difficult emotions alone.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the dedicated efforts and active participation of our Class Advisers and Grade Level Coordinators, who helped facilitate the sessions and ensured that learners felt heard, supported, and cared for throughout the activity.

At Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering a safe, caring, and child-friendly learning environment where every learner's mental, emotional, and psychosocial well-being is valued and protected.

Together, we build a stronger, safer, and more compassionate school community.

🌿 Psychosocial Support Activity | SY 2026–2027 🌿

As part of our commitment to ensuring a positive and healthy start to the School Year 2026–2027, Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School successfully conducted a Psychosocial Support Activity last June 9, 2026, featuring Cloud Relaxation, led by the Guidance Office with the full support of our School Principal, Mr. Eliseo C. Dela Cruz.

This activity was designed to promote our learners' emotional well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, and help them develop resilience as they prepare for another year of learning and growth.

At EVVDMHS, we believe that students thrive when they feel safe, supported, and valued. Through meaningful activities like this, we continue to foster a caring school environment where every learner's mental and emotional wellness is a priority.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our school administration, teachers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this activity.

Today, as we observe the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, we pause to honor and remember the precious lives lost to HIV/AIDS. We light our candles not only in memory, but also in hope — hope for compassion, understanding, healing, and a future free from stigma. 🕯️❤️

Together, we stand in solidarity with every individual and family affected by HIV around the world. Their stories matter. Their lives matter.

At Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, we remain committed to promoting HIV awareness, encouraging empathy, fighting discrimination, and creating a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
