The Basic Education Department shall proceed with its scheduled academic activities.

For the College Department, the Midterm Examinations for Monday classes shall proceed as scheduled. Students are advised to report to their respective examination rooms on time and comply with the established examination policies and requirements.

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬.

Wearing of the prescribed daily uniform shall remain temporarily suspended until further notice. Employees shall wear the prescribed Type B uniform, while students shall wear a plain white T-shirt, jeans, appropriate shoes, and their school ID.

The Institution continues to give due consideration to the safety and welfare of the COLM community. Students who may still be affected by flooding or other continuing effects of the recent weather conditions and are unable to report onsite shall coordinate with their respective Dean, Program Head, or Principal, as applicable, for proper guidance and coordination. Employees experiencing similar circumstances shall coordinate with their immediate heads.

The scheduled Midterm Examinations for Saturday classes shall remain postponed. In place of the examinations, faculty members shall proceed with their scheduled lessons for the Semi-Final Term. The new schedule for the affected Midterm Examinations shall be announced accordingly.

Faculty members are reminded to provide all students with a copy of the recorded synchronous class after each session. The recording shall serve as a learning reference for the entire class, particularly for students who may experience connectivity concerns or other valid difficulties that prevent them from fully participating in the session.

The recording will serve as a learning reference for the entire class and will allow students, particularly those who may encounter connectivity concerns or other valid difficulties, to review the lesson and catch up on any part of the discussion they may have missed.

All offices shall remain open for onsite transactions during regular operating hours. Office personnel, particularly those affected by ongoing flooding in their respective areas, may coordinate with their immediate heads and the Human Resource Office (HR) regarding a possible work-from-home arrangement.

In connection with the recent typhoon and flooding experienced in some areas, the Guidance Office will conduct an Online Kamustahan to check on the general well-being of our students and provide an opportunity for them to share concerns that may require appropriate guidance and support.

To give way to the Online Kamustahan, only classes that coincide with the scheduled Kamustahan shall shift to the asynchronous learning modality. For these affected classes, subject teachers shall provide students with a recorded lecture video and corresponding learning activity.

After their scheduled Online Kamustahan, students shall return to their succeeding synchronous classes based on their regular class schedules.

The respective Deans and Program Heads shall provide students with their Online Kamustahan schedule and meeting link and coordinate with the concerned faculty members regarding affected class schedules.

Part-time faculty members may conduct their online classes offsite.

In view of the aftermath of the recent typhoon and the continued flooding reported in several areas, and in consideration of the safety and welfare of our students and employees, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended tomorrow, September 1, 2026.

Classes at all levels shall shift to the synchronous online learning modality and follow their regular class schedules.

Students who are unable to attend their synchronous classes because they are affected by the aftermath of the typhoon or continued flooding are advised to inform their respective deans / program heads /principal of their circumstances.

For the College Department, the scheduled Midterm Examinations for Tuesday classes are postponed. In place of the examinations, faculty members shall conduct synchronous class discussions covering the second lesson of the Semi-Final Term.

All offices will remain open for onsite transactions during regular operating hours. Personnel are advised to exercise appropriate caution when traveling and to consider the prevailing weather and road conditions in their respective areas.

These arrangements are being implemented as a precautionary measure, particularly for members of the COLM community residing in or traveling from areas affected by flooding and difficult road conditions.
