Look: Future Tourism Service Providers passed the National Assessment

8 brave souls from TVL 12 underwent a National Assessment in Tourism Promotion Services NC II conducted at Syglat Training and Development Center, Candon City, Ilocos Sur earlier this morning.

These young learners showed their knowledge and skills in various competencies which include (1) operation of an automated information system, (2) Provision of advice to clients with tourism products, services, and destinations, and (3) Promotion of Tourism Destination, Products, and Services.

They were able to perform all tasks as a service provider as per TESDA standards aligned with the updated tourism and hospitality standard operations leading them to pass the National Assessment in a 100% passing rate.

JUST IN! TVL 11 learners passed the TESDA National Assessment

It’s a wrap, TVL 11 learners of SIS SHS continued its streak at 100% passing rate for the National Certification Level 2 in Housekeeping.

The learners underwent an intensive training under Mr. Ryan T. Lopez following the standards of TESDA Training Regulations for the learners to qualify in a National Assessment.

This certification is awarded to trainees who have met the full qualification and have shown competencies of Hotel Housekeeping Operations. #

This endeavor is a manifestation of the courage, perseverance, hardwork, and sacrifice of the learners.

SIS SHS Department would like to extend gratitude to the parents who have shown support to the learners.

JUST IN! Saytan Integrated School’s SHS Department pride Mr. Ezekiel Gabriel Gallardo clinched Stat Speaks CHAMPIONSHIP in the concluded Regional Level Stat Speaks Contest.

Blood and sweat poured but everything was paid off after Ezekiel Gallardo, HUMSS 11 bested the 3 Provinces’ competitors in the 36th National Statistics Month Regional Stat Speaks Contest held at J&V Resort, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Mr. Gallardo once again proved his talent and skills in Oratorical Speech leading him to be the best in the entire Ilocos Region. His success is made possible through the non-stop assistance and guidance of his head coach Mr. John-John L. Pasul.

This win is an added long feather to the cap of Saytan Integrated School.

Thank you for carrying the torch and flag of Saytan IS to the Regional Stage.

Just In! Pugo Cluster from Saytan IS Mr. Ezekiel Gabriel Gallardo brought home the bacon in the recently concluded La Union 30th National Statistics Month. 🏆🥇🥇🥇

Mr. Gallardo of HUMSS 11 once again wowed the judges with his excellent performance during the Stats Speak (Oratorical Contest) held at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union earlier this morning.

With his exceptional talent, he was able to convey to the judges and audiences the relevance of Data in the lives of the people worldwide leading him to be the CHAMPION in the said competition.

Mr. Gallardo will represent the province of La Union in the Regional Level on October 16, 2025 at J&V Resort, City of San Fernando, La Union.

This win and success is made possible with the guidance, help, and support of his coaches Mr. John-John L. Pasul and Mrs. Vilma M. Sedogen.

Look: TVL Learners of SHS Department joined the La Union Tourism Summit 2025

September 29, 2025| Mr. Ryan T. Lopez, Tourism Specialization Teacher together with Giani Gaerlan and Celine R. Basallo of TVL 11 participated in the La Union Tourism Summit 2025 at Convention Center, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The Summit wowed audiences and spectators from the different tourism sectors including the academe with the various performances of learners from different schools.

The highlight of the program includes topics discussed by resource speakers from Universities and Tourism Enterprises about Sustainable Transformation, Embedding Sustainability, and Regeneration of Tourism that are vital for all to understand the impact of tourism activities and how can one contribute towards tourism sustainability.

This activity is part of the Tourism long-month celebration of the Province of La Union through La Union Tourism Office led by Hon. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega.

Look: SHS learners from SIS bagged awards from the recently concluded Cluster Statistics Month Elimination as CHAMPION and 1st Runner Up.

On September 24, 2025, Saytan Integrated School SHS learners Mr. Ezekiel Gabriel Gallardo and Ms. Shaina Agnaya participated the Cluster Statistics Month Elimination at Pugo Central National High School.

Aligned with the National Celebration of Statistics Month spearheaded by the Philippine Statistics Authority, the Provincial Government of La Union led activities to promote the significance of Data for All. This activity is anchored with the theme: “Accelerating the SDG Pace of Progress: Mobilizing Data for All” which emphasizes the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals through varying available data that are vital in the development of plans and implementation of programs that can attain goals and objectives of SDGs.

Saytan IS proudly commends the success of Mr. Ezekiel Gabriel Gallardo from HUMSS 11 in the category of Stat Speaks formerly known as Oratorical Contest for bringing the bacon as he was declared CHAMPION in the said category.

Meanwhile, Ms. Shaina Agnaya, from HUMSS 11 landed 1st Runner Up in the Stat Stories Contest or formerly known as Essay Writing Contest.

These 2 brave souls of SIS were coached by Mr. John John L. Pasul and Mrs. Vilma M. Sedogen.

Mr. Gallardo will represent Pugo Cluster in the incoming Provincial Statistics Month Competition which will be held this earlier of October.
