(February 26, 2026) SPFL 7- Sakura participated in an exciting ensoku (えんそく, school trip)to PHIVOLCS–DOST Puerto Princesa and the Palawan Heritage Center as part of their activities for their Rika (りか, Science) and Bijutsu (びじゅつ, Arts) classes. It was a day full of learning, discovery, and fun — and everyone had a great time! 💖

This Friday in class… We studied たべもの (tabemono)! 🍫

Nihongo correspondent Clark-kun asked SPFL 7–Sakura students about their favorite tabemono and why they love them.
From salty fries to sweet chocolate, the answers were as oishii as they were fun! 😋

Today's aisatsu (あいさつ) is konnichiwa (こんにちは), a greeting that is mainly used from late morning to afternoon in Japan.

Konnichiwa, minna-san! Let’s make today a good one. ☀️

Kotowaza of the Week 🌸🍡
花より団子 (Hana yori dango)

Sure, flowers are pretty… but let’s be real—dumplings make you happier! 😋 This kotowaza reminds us to choose what’s useful and fulfilling over what just looks good.

Monday mood: less show, more substance.

What’s your “dango” this week, minna-san? 💭✨

Today's aisatsu (あいさつ) is ohayou gozaimasu (おはようございます) which means “Good morning” in Japanese. It’s a polite way to greet people and start the day with respect and kindness. ☀️

A simple greeting can brighten someone’s morning, so let’s share smiles, positive energy, and warm words this Wednesday.

Ohayou gozaimasu, minna-san!
