DR. AMABEL S. LIAO was sworn into office as the new University President of Western Philippines University by Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, CHED Chairperson and Chair of the WPU Board of Regents. Her term commences today, February 23, 2024.

The Western Philippines University family extends its warmest welcome to Dr. Amabel S. Liao as our new University President. We look forward to her leadership and vision guiding us towards continued excellence and growth.

A 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊 Internet setup at WPU-College of Public Administration and Management in Puerto Princesa Campus, registered an internet speed of 150 Mbps during a test on a partly cloudy day. The setup was temporarily arranged by a 4th-year BS Entrepreneurship student in response to an internet outage on campus, aiming to ensure connectivity for enrollment purposes.
