Celebrating New Beginnings: Welcoming Our Newest J&A Melvin Palawan Scholars ✨

A new chapter of hope, opportunity, and aspiration unfolded as the J&A Melvin Palawan Scholars gathered on July 11, 2026, at the Yara Residence in Barangay Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City, for the Welcome Ceremony of newly admitted scholars Jezerian Ayson and Emeliza Radam.

Organized by the current scholars under the guidance of Program Coordinator Juliet V. Yara, the activity served not only as a warm welcome for the new members of the scholarship family but also as a meaningful celebration of opportunities and dreams made possible through education.

As part of the program, an orientation for the newly admitted scholars was conducted to familiarize them with the goals, values, expectations, and opportunities offered by the J&A Melvin Scholarship Program. The session provided valuable insights into the responsibilities and privileges of being a J&A Melvin Scholar, helping prepare them for the journey ahead.

The gathering was filled with stories of perseverance, words of encouragement, and shared experiences from fellow scholars—reminding everyone that success is built not only through individual determination but also through the support of a caring community.

Celebrating Milestones and Embracing New Horizons: Honoring the J&A Palawan Scholars Class of 2026 ✨

On July 11, 2026, the J&A Palawan Scholars family gathered at the Yara Residence in Barangay Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City for a heartfelt Send-Off Program for the Graduating Scholars of Class 2026—a meaningful celebration of perseverance, achievement, gratitude, and new beginnings.

This year, we proudly honor four remarkable scholars who have successfully completed their respective degree programs:

🎓 Florence Arlene G. Pilapil – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Palawan State University

🎓 Maria Rena Bandiala – Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Palawan State University
