Palawan National School - Super Science Club

The club proudly joined the 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 7𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 2026 held at the City Baywalk on August 10, 2026.

Together with fellow young leaders and youth organizations, the club celebrated a gathering filled with energy, unity, and the spirit of youth empowerment.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁!

Despite the rain, members and officers proudly took part in the 7th Puerto Princesa City Youth Festival, joining the vibrant parade from SM City Puerto Princesa to the PGP Convention Center for the grand opening salvo of the Ugnayan ng Kabataan for Poblacion Barangays on August 1, 2026.

Marching alongside fellow youth organizations, the club demonstrated resilience, unity, and unwavering enthusiasm as it celebrated youth leadership and community engagement. The rainy weather became a reminder that genuine commitment to service and participation goes beyond any challenge.

The club's 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗡: 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 is designed to increase student engagement and cultivate a deeper understanding of scientific, ecological, and cultural concepts through experiential learning.

This year, the first stop of the educational visit was the 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 in Barangay Sta. Monica, where the students observed various butterfly species and their morphology, as well as endemic wildlife such as the Palawan bearcat (binturong) and crocodiles. In the Tribal Village, they witnessed the way of life of Palawan's Indigenous Peoples through demonstrations of traditional practices, including playing bamboo instruments, making fire, and hunting.

Learning beyond the classroom allowed students to build meaningful connections with Palawan's natural environment and cultural heritage through firsthand experiences. The activity nurtures informed and responsible individuals committed to preserving the province's unique identity.

As part of its commitment to environmental conservation, the club participated in the 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 at Balayong People's Park, Barangay Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City, on July 25 (Saturday), helping cultivate a future where every tree planted becomes a symbol of shared responsibility.

𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡-𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬

On July 18, 2026, the officers of the Palawan National School – SUPER Science Club (PNS-SSC) proudly participated in TARABIDAN 2026: Mass Oath-Taking of Club and Organization Officers held at the Abueg Gymnasium, Palawan National School.

Inspired by the theme Philippine Mythology, student clubs and organizations were grouped into different 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙨 representing Filipino gods and goddesses. PNS-SSC proudly represented 𝙏𝙍𝙄𝘽𝙐 𝙏𝘼𝙇𝘼, embodying the brilliance, wisdom, and guiding light of the goddess of the stars.

The celebration commenced with a parade, followed by the official mass oath-taking ceremony, symbolizing the officers' commitment to servant leadership and dedicated service to the school community. The event continued with exciting competitions, including the Bench Yell, Face Paint, Headdress, and Banner Competition, where each tribu showcased its creativity, teamwork, and school spirit.

Demonstrating outstanding collaboration and artistic excellence, Tribu Tala earned the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, reflecting the hard work and dedication of its members.

TARABIDAN 2026 was more than a celebration of leadership; it was a meaningful gathering that strengthened unity, promoted cultural appreciation through Philippine mythology, and inspired student leaders to lead with integrity, creativity, and purpose throughout the school year.

Selected officers and members participated in the 10th Anniversary of the Arbitral Ruling and the 3rd West Philippine Sea Victory Day held on July 12, 2026, at the PGP Convention Center, Capitol Complex.

The commemoration began with a parade, bringing together participants in a display of unity and patriotism. This was followed by a meaningful program that highlighted the significance of the 2016 Arbitral Award and reaffirmed the importance of upholding international law, peace, and the Philippines' sovereign rights.
