Created in the subterranean depths of an ancient royal tomb, Inx was crafted not as a fierce guardian, but as a living architectural blueprint—a spirit bound to the sleek form of a Sphynx cat to preserve the divine geometry of Egyptian construction. Crowned with the sacred Nemes of divine authority and wrapped in eternal linen, Inx slept for eons until the tomb’s cracking ceiling let in a single beam of light, igniting the fountain-pen mark upon their brow.

Awakening to a modern world that had forgotten the sacred craft of monument building, Inx rose from the dust with a playful, friendly spirit. Using the luminous nib emblem on their forehead to project and solidify golden lines of light, this ancient spirit dedicated eternity to repairing ancient ruins, correcting structural flaws, and guiding humanity back to harmonic design.

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan — The College of Architecture and Design (CAD) participated in the Kick-Off Ceremony for the ASEAN Month 2026 Celebration held at the Palawan State University (PalawanSU) Amphitheater on August 10, 2026.

With the presence of university officials, college deans, directors, unit heads, faculty members, administrative personnel, and students, the event commenced right after the regular Monday Flag Ceremony.

The theme for the year 2026 is “Navigating Our Future, Together.” It serves as a guide to the 2026 Chairship of the Philippines, reflecting the country’s commitment to achieving unity, clarity, and purpose in leading ASEAN. Through Proclamation No. 282, the Philippines celebrates ASEAN Month in August.
In a lively display of creative cultural representation, CAD united with other colleges to represent Cambodia, providing a pair clad in costumes inspired by the nation. The cultural showcase was executed through the collaborative efforts of the UAPSA-PALSU and CAD-CSG officers, and was worn by architecture students Jalexa Bobilles and Lance Gabriel Romero.

PSU University President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada opened the program with an address that officially launched the celebration of ASEAN Month in the university. Dr. Lhynette Zambales, Director of the Transnational Education, International Affairs, and Linkages Office (TNEIALO), led the formal recognition of the ASEAN member states represented by the various colleges. To conclude the ceremony, the closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Frances Muriel I. Tuquero, Vice President for Research Development and Extension.

The celebration of ASEAN Month 2026 aims to uphold the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). As a member of the academic community, Palawan State University extends its arms through this initiative to enhance regional cooperation, internationalization, and intercultural understanding.
