Mariing kinokondena ng College of Arts and Humanities - Student Government ang naganap na pambabastos, panggugulo, at pambabato ng putik sa iilang estudyante ng aming kolehiyo at ng unibersidad nitong ika-20 ng Agosto, sa huling araw ng Burungitan Rites 2026.

Hindi ipagsasawalang-bahala ng aming kolehiyo ang mga nangyari. Sisikapin naming maprotektahan ang karapatan ng mga nakaranas ng karahasan at pambabastos at mapanagot ang mga dapat managot.

Samantala, hinihikayat namin ang lahat na iwasan ang pagpatol at pakikipag-away sa mga posts online. Inaaksyunan na namin ang isyung ito, at ang pakikisalamuha sa mga naturang posts ay maaaring magdulot lamang ng lalo pang paglala ng sitwasyon. Bumalik si Ninoy sa Pilipinas sa kabila ng panganib, sa paniniwalang ang kinabukasan ng mga Pilipino ay mas mahalaga kaysa sa kanyang sariling kaligtasan. Ang kanyang sakripisyo ang naging mitsa ng pagbabago at pagpapanumbalik ng demokrasya.

Sa paggunita natin ngayon, hamon sa atin na buhayin ang kanyang diwa sa araw-araw. Maging matapang sa katotohanan, maging tapat sa serbisyo, at huwag kailanman hayaang mabaon sa limot ang kasaysayan. Ang tunay na pagpaparangal kay Ninoy ay nasa mga gawa natin para sa bayan.
