Rhizophora mangle, the mangroves of Irawan and Iwahig, form thriving ecosystems that shield coastlines from erosion and storm surges. They nurture diverse marine and bird species while storing carbon. Conserving these mangroves sustains fisheries, protects biodiversity, and strengthens natural defenses against climate change for future generations.
