Tourism isn’t just learned only in the classroom. Sometimes, 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒂 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒂𝒑𝒌𝒊𝒏, 𝒂 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍-𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒉, 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒍, 𝒂 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒗𝒍𝒐𝒈, 𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒍.
For 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, CHTM students step beyond theory and put their knowledge, technical skills, creativity, communication, and confidence into action through the CHTM Skillympics & Intellympics 2026.
📅 September 19, 2026
From Skillympics in the morning to CHTM Tagistalino in the afternoon, expect some competition, some pressure, and—most importantly—learning that happens in real time.

The Palawan State University Student Government (USG) proudly represented the student body at the Tourism Summit 2026, held yesterday at the Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel, Puerto Princesa City. Hosted by the City Government of Puerto Princesa through the City Tourism Department, this significant gathering convened key stakeholders across government agencies, private sector partners, industry experts, and the academe.
Engaging in key discussions surrounding sustainable tourism development, digital innovation, emerging industry trends, and destination marketing allows the student government to ensure that the youth’s perspective remains central to the growth of our local community. We extend our deepest gratitude to City Tourism Officer Demetrio C. Alvior Jr. and the entire City Tourism Department for the gracious invitation and for continuing to foster collaborative partnerships with the academic sector.
Together, we remain committed to driving sustainable progress and building a stronger future for Puerto Princesa City.
