The Message of Islam

Men are truly fortunate to have the privilege of staying in the masjid to perform their ibadah, free from distractions ( no babies crying, no children yelling, no interruptions just pure worship, surrounded by brothers doing the same.

Meanwhile, women especially mothers are left with all of it at home..... tending to their children, managing everything, and carefully calculating their time to pray. They try to complete as many rakaahs of Taraweeh as they can, get a little sleep, wake up for Tahajjud, then prepare for suhoor . And at day time thinking about how to ensure their children’s safety while they try to get some sleep because the children are awake.

Yes, it comes with reward but sometimes, you also long for a peaceful moment to focus on your ibadah, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan without feeling pressured by your surroundings, noise and all

If you have a husband who is understanding, who considers your need for uninterrupted time for worship, checks on how you’re doing, and helps with the children then that is truly something to be grateful for, because not everyone has that.

Your husband may love you, but sometimes he simply lacks the emotional intelligence to notice ......
