On August 23, 2026, BKB joined the Youth Fest at Inagawan, bringing together youth organizations such as the BKB, YES-O, SSLG, and Peer Facilitators for an informative and meaningful learning experience. 💗✨

The PDEA helped educate the youth organizations on important topics, while Amos Tara conducted a discussion on HIV and AIDS, raising awareness and promoting accurate knowledge among the youth.

The discussion also clarified that HIV is manageable with proper treatment, while AIDS is the advanced stage of HIV and currently has no cure.

A day of learning, awareness, and empowerment! Together, let’s continue to educate, support, and inspire the youth. 🙇🏻‍♀️❤️‍🔥

Pahalagahan ang buhay, iwasan ang Droga ❤️‍🩹 💊

On August 7, 2026, the Barkada KONTRA BISYO (BKB) participated in a meaningful awareness seminar led by our local police officers as part of the Campaign Against Illegal Drugs.

Guided by the theme "Pahalagahan ang buhay, iwasan ang Droga." The seminar emphasized the importance of making wise choices, protecting our well-being, and encouraging the youth to stay away from illegal drugs. 💊🚫

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Luzviminda for inviting the Barkada KONTRA BISYO (BKB) to attend this meaningful seminar and for giving us the chance to be part of this important advocacy for a safer, drug-free community.

The student leaders of Luzviminda National High School - Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) proudly represented our school at the Orientation and Election for Student Leaders held at Palawan National School (PNS) .

The event serves as an essential training ground for BKB student leaders, focusing on values-formation, structural governance, and collaborative action.

By participating in this comprehensive orientation session, our BKB officers acquired critical skills in strategic planning, project management, and peer advocacy—equipping them to implement safer, bisyo-free, and productive environments back home in our school community.

The entire event is designed to help young minds understand what true leadership is all about and how bisyo can affect—not just students inside our school, but also those people outside the school.
