Sa selebrasyon ng Araw ng mga Bayani ngayong taon, ating bigyang-pagkilala at sama-sama nating ipagmalaki ang mga bayani ng ating bansa mula pa noong unang panahon, hanggang sa ating mga modernong bayani ngayon.

Kalakip ng mapagbago at mapanghamong panahon ay ang pagkasilang ng bagong henerasyon ng mga bayani. Tandaan na ang pagiging bayani ay hindi nasusukat sa katanyagan, bagkus sa mga aksyong mapagpalaya at nagpapakita ng masidhing pagmamahal sa ating bayan.

On the recall of the President's approval of the pilot run of face-to-face classes

December 26, 2020 – Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones confirms that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has recalled his earlier approval of the pilot implementation/dry run of face-to-face classes in low-risk areas, originally scheduled in January 2021. This is in light of the emerging concern over the reported new strain of the virus that causes COVID-19 or the SARS-CoV-2 VUI 202012/01 (Variant Under Investigation, year 2020, month 12, variant 01).

Pursuant to the President’s instruction, DepEd is suspending the said pilot run of face-to-face classes until further notice.

The Department will fully cooperate with the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) in its response to the current situation.

Bayanihan ng NFOT at NSPC delegates

Anim na araw nalang bago ang Kapaskuhan, at ating gunitain ang bayanihang naganap noong Marso nitong taon, nang mag lockdown ang ating gobyerno dahil sa pandemya.

May mga delegates noon na kakatapos lang ng Regional Schools Press Conference sa Tuguegarao City. Hindi na makalipad ang 12 delegate pabalik ng Maynila pauwi ng kani-kanilang mga lugar sa SOCCSKSARGEN.

Nguni't dahil sa pag-asikaso sa kanila ng mga DepEd officials, nagawan din ng paraan, kung saan sila ay nakalipad sa General Santos City, nag quarantine ng 14 na araw, at nakasama rin ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

Ganito rin ang diwa ng Pasko, ang ipakita ang pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa kapwa.
