Habagat is learning muzzle work, but the goal goes beyond simply making him bite.

We want him to think. The bite suit is only part of the exercise. Our goal is to build his ability to identify and stay committed to the target, rather than becoming fixated on the equipment.

Habagat’s protection work is influenced by sport exercises, but our focus is reality-based control. We want a dog capable of responding with intensity when necessary, while still listening, thinking, and remaining under the handler’s control.

Power is not the goal by itself. Control over that power is. 🐕‍🦺🔥

Si Nero ay currently undergoing behavior training. Isa sa mga behaviors na kailangan naming i-work on ay ang kanyang tendency to nip or bite, malakas na leash pulling, at matinding reaction kapag nakakakita ng pusa. 🐈‍⬛

This training will focus on building better impulse control, leash manners, and proper responses to triggers.
