Re: New Storage Policy for Google

This is to inform you that Google Drive will be implementing a new storage policy that will affect all Google Workspace for Education editions for Palawan State University, beginning in July 2022. The Unlimited storage amount will be limited to designated pooled storage available after this date depending on the edition and Workspace active usage. Please note that storage across all editions includes usage in Drive, Photos, Gmail, and Shared Drives.

To preserve our pool storage, we will implement an estimated 5GB storage limit for Student accounts and 10GB storage limit for all Faculty accounts. Please be advised to save your files on external drives, flash drives, laptops, or desktop computers on or before June 30, 2022.

Your usual cooperation in this endeavor is highly appreciated. For inquiries, please contact the ICT Office through this email address: [email protected]

Thank you.

Addendum: We strongly encourage all PSU Students, Faculty & Staff, to please go over your files in Google Drive, and remove those that are no longer needed, or are not PSU-related/work-related files, in connection with this new storage policy from Google.

Thank you so much.
