Our PPCI 4th Year BS Hospitality Management students underwent the Ship’s Catering NCI Training and Assessment at Power Link Training Center our Partner Training Center as part of their Practicum 1: Ship Familiarization (Ship On-Board Training).

The training focused on the basic skills and knowledge needed in shipboard catering operations, including food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting on provisions and following proper safety and hygiene practices on board.

100% of trainees successfully passed the assessment and were rated COMPETENT. 🙏🏻✨

REPOST | 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀!

A meaningful celebration of passion, knowledge, and camaraderie unfolded as the Education Department gathered for the BSED Week Symposium.

The event commenced with an opening program, beginning with a prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. This was followed by the opening remarks of the Dean of Education, Dr. Franklin Joseph Solita, who warmly welcomed everyone and set the tone for a meaningful celebration.

One of the highlights of the symposium was the inspirational message delivered by Education Specialist Dr. Dalisay J. Laquiorez, who shared words of wisdom and encouragement with aspiring educators. Her message served as a reminder to always look back and remember why we started—to hold on to our purpose, passion, and commitment despite the challenges we may encounter along the way.

The program concluded with the closing remarks of the Education Department President, Carl Jude Fernandez, followed by a memorable picture-taking session with each year level.

But the celebration did not end there!
Part II brought everyone together through a fellowship of food, strengthening the bond and camaraderie among future educators. The energy continued with various academic competitions, including Debate, Spelling Bee, Quiz Bee, and Oration, where students showcased their knowledge, skills, confidence, and talents.

The event also recognized the efforts and achievements of the participants through the awarding ceremony, followed by exciting parlor games that filled the venue with laughter and unforgettable moments.

Indeed, BSED Week was more than just a celebration—it was a gathering that reminded us of the purpose we carry as future educators. Through knowledge, passion, unity, and shared experiences, we continue to shape not only our own futures but also the minds and lives of those we will teach someday.

Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we inspire.
