Kamarahan High School Brings School Community Together for 57th Anniversary

Kamarahan High School brought together students, parents, teachers, and other members of the school community as it celebrated its 57th Foundation Anniversary on August 21, 2026.

The celebration began in the morning with a Thanksgiving Worship Service facilitated by the Assembly of God, followed by the Coronation Rites featuring the parent candidates and the formal anniversary program.

The afternoon celebration brought excitement as students, parents, and advisers joined the TikTok Dance presentation by section. Each section showcased their creativity and energy as they performed together with their parents and advisers.

The celebration also featured parlor games organized by the different school clubs and subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH, Values Education, and TLE. The activities were facilitated by the PTA officers, giving parents and teachers an opportunity to participate, have fun, and connect with one another outside the usual school setting.

More than the activities themselves, the celebration highlighted the active participation and support of the PTA, parents, teachers, students, clubs, and subject areas. From the morning program to the afternoon activities, members of the school community worked together to make the anniversary celebration possible.

The 57th Foundation Anniversary became a meaningful celebration not only of Kamarahan High School’s journey, but also of the cooperation, support, and bayanihan that continue to bring the school community together.

Kamarahan Girls Basketball Team Advances to Congressional Meet

The Kamarahan High School Girls Basketball 5x5 Team is set to represent the school at the Congressional Meet after advancing from the District Meet.

During the Municipal Meet held on August 15, 2026, no opposing team competed in the Girls Basketball 5x5 category, allowing the Kamarahan team to advance to the next level of competition.

The team previously secured victory at the District Meet, marking another milestone for Kamarahan High School’s student-athletes as they continue their journey in inter-school sports competitions.

The team is under the guidance of coaches Sir Frederick Castro and Ma’am Maria Fe Zaide Venturanza, who continue to support and train the student-athletes as they prepare for the Congressional Meet.

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball 5x5 Team, together with their coaches, for this achievement. Kamarahan High School wishes you the best as you take on the next level of competition.

Samantha Lorraine Zamora Secures 2nd Place in Photojournalism

Kamarahan High School student journalist Samantha Lorraine Zamora secured 2nd Place in Photojournalism, English (Secondary) during the Division Training-Workshop for Campus Journalists (Individual) held on August 16, 2026, at President Roxas National High School.

Zamora’s recognition marks a significant milestone for Kamarahan High School as it begins its return to Campus Journalism after more than a decade. She was among the 19 student journalists from Kamarahan High School who participated in the training, gaining valuable experience and developing their skills in various areas of campus journalism.

The training serves as an important preparation for the school’s participation in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) on October 3–4, 2026.

Zamora’s achievement reflects the dedication and willingness of Kamarahan’s young journalists to learn and grow in their newly embraced craft. Her recognition also serves as an encouraging start to the school’s renewed journey in Campus Journalism.

Congratulations, Samantha Lorraine Zamora, and to all 19 of our student journalists who took part in this meaningful beginning. This is only the start of the journey.
