On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, it has been approved and signed under the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., with Trade and Industry Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo and brings high-tech progress in the Philippines.

But what is sold is a chance to advance our nation hides heavy cost that filipinos will end up paying for. ⛰️

𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 comes from sand. And Pax Silica will obtain them from our rich minerals such as copper, nickel and cobalt—and It will be used for the production of 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. 💾

Kapag itinayo na ang pasilidad, ang mga natural resources at kalikasan natin ay magiging 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖. At tayong mga pilipino ay 𝙠𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙬𝙖. 😰

Ang mga pilipino ay mabubuhay ba na 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 ang kinakain? 𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜. Ang malaking lupain na ibinigay para sa pax silica ay pinagmumulan ng pagkain at kita ng mga magsasaka at mga katutubo. At babayarin lang sila ng gobyerno ng ₱𝟯𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 bilang kapalit ng sarili nilang lupain?

‎✨𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 (Youth for Environment Schools Organization) alongside 𝐁𝐊𝐃 (Barkada Kontra Droga), 𝐁𝐒𝐏 (Boy Scouts of the Philippines, 𝐆𝐒𝐏 (Girl Scouts of the Philippines)of 𝐅𝐘𝐂𝐍𝐇𝐒 helped hand in hand to clean the school premises. We'd also like to recognize the students that's volunteered of helping us other organizations clean. 🙌

Yesterday, August 7, alongside with the organizations of Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School (FYCNHS) and across the Western Visayas joins the Kick Off celebration of the International Youth Day (IYD) with the theme 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) and ASEAN Day - Western Visayas Kick Off at Passi City Arena, Passi City, Iloilo.

It is a privilege to know, learn and grow with other youth organizations that are from different schools but is united solely because of one purpose. 🌏

We may come from different municipalities, but the oneness within us will never fade—shared dreams and a shared purpose, all possible with the hands of the youth. ✊🏻

We only have ONE Earth… so why are we treating it like we have a spare? 💔

Think about it.

Every breath we take, every drop of water we drink, and every meal we eat comes from nature. Yet, humanity is currently using natural resources about 73% faster than the Earth can naturally replace them. That means we’re consuming more than our planet can sustainably provide, putting forests, oceans, wildlife, and future generations at risk.

So, what is conservation? 🌿

Conservation means protecting and caring for our environment before it’s too late. It’s about making sure our forests stay green, our oceans stay alive, and future generations get to experience the same beautiful planet we enjoy today.

But what happens if we don’t? 🤔

🌳 Fewer forests mean less clean air.

🐢 Wildlife loses its home.

🌊 Polluted oceans threaten marine life.

🌡️ Climate change becomes even more severe.

And when nature suffers… we suffer too.

So, how can YOU make a difference? 💚

You don’t need to change the whole world overnight.

‎How is plastic even 🄷🄰🅁🄼🄵🅄🄻? 😵‍💫

‎Plastic is harmful because it spreads disease, ruins our water and soil, and hurts wildlife. When trash rots, it releases harmful gases into the air that make people sick. It also creates dirty puddles that act as breeding grounds for mosquitoes and rats.

‎𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓭𝓸 𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓽𝓸𝓮𝓼 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓮?

‎🦠That's right! Dangerous diseases like 𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕦𝕖, 𝕄𝕒𝕝𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕒, 𝕃𝕖𝕡𝕥𝕠𝕤𝕡𝕪𝕣𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕤, and many more. 🐀🦟

‎But, how do we 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉 plastic wastes?

‎Actually, we can never fully prevent it😕, what we can do is lessen it. 😄

‎- We can do the 3r's; 𝓡𝓔𝓤𝓢𝓔, 𝓡𝓔𝓓𝓤𝓒𝓔, 𝓐𝓝𝓓 𝓡𝓔𝓒𝓨𝓒𝓛𝓔

‎- By reusing, it reduces waste, conserves resources, and helps keep plastic out of landfills and oceans.💡

‎- By reducing your consumption of plastic materials, you also lessen your contribution to the growing number of plastic wastes. 🚮

‎- Recycling conserves natural resources, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and limits the waste sent to landfills. By giving a second chance to something, your giving them life, and with a new purpose. ♻
