Taal Lake is home to the Tawilis, the only sardine species in the world known to live exclusively in freshwater!

However, pollution, overfishing, and changes in its habitat threaten this unique species. 🌱

As students, we can help protect Tawilis and our lakes by properly disposing of waste, reducing plastic use, avoiding harmful practices, and joining clean-up activities. 🌏
