Dr. Juliet Estrada, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in English, together with some officers of Pangasinan II Association of School Paper Advisers Association (PASPAA), met with Dr. Roger Z. Estabillo Jr., School Head of Benigno V. Aldana National High School (BVANHS), for the initial discussions on the proposed conduct of the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) at BVANHS on September 3–5, 2026.

The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening collaboration and ensuring the successful staging of the upcoming division-wide journalism event.

BVANHS Leads Special TUPAD–Brigada Beneficiaries Orientation for 10-Day School Service

Benigno V. Aldana National High School (BVANHS), in collaboration with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region1 and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Pozorrubio, conducted an orientation for the beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD)–Brigada, preparing them for their 10-day service to the school, August 11, 2026.

School Head Dr. Roger Z. Estabilllo, Jr. welcomed more than 168 Special TUPAD beneficiaries who were presented by Mam Rianna D. Ortega, PESO-Pozorrubio Manager. These beneficiaries were parents/guardians of learners enrolled in BVANHS and Pozorrubio Central School.

The orientation proper was conducted by Mr. Maynard Oracion, DOLE Eastern Pangasinan Field Officer (EPFO) and TUPAD coordinator (EPFO).

During the orientation, the beneficiaries were briefed on their duties, responsibilities, work schedules, and the proper conduct expected while performing their assigned tasks within the school premises. They were also reminded that their participation is vital in helping maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and conducive learning environment for learners and teachers.

Starting August 11, the beneficiaries under this program will render eight hours of service per day for 10 days, performing various school-related tasks in support of the school's maintenance as mandated in Brigada Eskwela.

The school administration expressed its appreciation to the beneficiaries for their willingness to extend their time, effort, and skills in support of BVANHS. Their participation reflects the spirit of bayanihan and community partnership, demonstrating that providing a better learning environment is a shared responsibility.

Through this TUPAD–Brigada initiative in school coordinated by Mr. Jojo A. Canto, TLE Department Head and Mr. William A. Tarampi, Assistant School Head, BVANHS continues to strengthen its partnership with stakeholders and maximize community support in ensuring that the school is clean, safe, resilient, and ready for learning.
