SEVENTH REGULAR SESSION 🏛️

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Pototan NCHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) successfully held its Seventh Regular Session at the SSLG Session Hall.

The SSLG conducted its First Session for the Month of August, focusing on preparations for the Club and Organization Officers’ Orientation, in conjunction with the First State of the Learner Government Address.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗬💛🎗️

Today, August 21, 2026, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day in honor of the life, courage, and sacrifice of the late Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

He was more than a politician. He was a journalist who touched the lives of millions of Filipinos, a senator who stood against the Marcos dictatorship, and a man willing to sacrifice his life for the betterment of his nation.

His words and actions remind us that true courage is not only found in moments of triumph, but also in the willingness to stand for what is right, even in the face of adversity.

As learners and young Filipinos, may we continue to remember his legacy by valuing freedom, democracy, courage, and service to the nation.

“The Filipino is worth dying for.”

May his sacrifice continue to inspire us to become responsible citizens who speak with courage, act with integrity, and serve our country with purpose.

In the aftermath of Tropical Depression “Neneng,” some of our fellow Nasyonalians and their families are facing difficult days, with many dealing with flooding, damaged homes, loss of belongings, and limited access to basic needs.

In times like these, we are reminded that the strength of the PNCHS community lies in unity, compassion, and our willingness to help one another.

Through our PUNDAR, we call upon the PNCHS community and those who have the means to help by donating essential goods or monetary assistance for learners in need.

More than a donation drive, PUNDAR is a reminder that no affected learner stands alone. Every contribution is a helping hand and a symbol of hope from the PNCHS family.

📌 Each donation received for Project PUNDAR will be properly recorded, monitored, and reported to ensure that contributions are directed toward supporting learners in need.

The Pototan National Comprehensive High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (PNCHS SSLG) conducted its First State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA), highlighting the issues and concerns of the learner body, along with the accomplishments and initiatives of the Learner Government.

The address served as an opportunity to present progress, recognize achievements, and discuss matters concerning the learners and the school community. 💚

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Coordinating Council of Pototan National Comprehensive High School held its Second Coordinating Council Meeting

Last August 10, 2026, the Pototan NCHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government, together with the Club and Organization Presidents, gathered for a meaningful discussion. The meeting focused on the preparations for the State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA). The SSLG also consulted the Club Presidents regarding their proposed Resolution No. 004, s. 2026.

In line with the upcoming SOLGA, the concerns and issues raised by these learner leaders were also consolidated to ensure that they are properly addressed and given appropriate action.
