PSU Porac Faculty Present Research at 33rd University In-House Review

Faculty members from Pampanga State University (PSU) Porac Campus underscored their commitment to research and sustainable development as Dr. Cailvin Reyes and Mr. Kaeneth Punzalan presented their studies during the 33rd University In-House Review held on April 30, 2026.
Dr. Reyes, an Assistant Professor, presented two research papers focused on language education. His first study on service learning in English instruction aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, emphasizing inclusive and equitable learning through community engagement. His second paper examined the transition of teaching English to Filipino learners in U.S. classrooms, contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities by addressing the needs of diverse learners in multicultural educational settings.
Meanwhile, Mr. Punzalan presented a research proposal on experiential learning and its relationship to the employability of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) graduates. His study supports Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, as it aims to strengthen job readiness and career opportunities for graduates through practical, skills-based learning.
Both Dr. Reyes and Mr. Punzalan represented PSU Porac Campus, reflecting the institution’s dedication to research that not only advances academic knowledge but also contributes to global development goals.
The 33rd University In-House Review continues to serve as a vital platform for faculty and researchers to present their work, foster collaboration, and align scholarly efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Bridging Academe and Industry: BSBA SIPP Team Visits Mekeni Food Corporation

The BSBA SIPP Coordinators, Ms. Marissa Gegante and Ms. Renzie Mendoza, together with Dr. Cailvin Reyes, Academic Chairperson, conducted a courtesy visit to Mekeni Food Corporation on April 14, 2026, as part of their ongoing monitoring of BSBA students undergoing internship.
The visit aimed to assess the students’ progress, ensure alignment between academic objectives and industry practices, and strengthen the partnership between the institution and Mekeni Food Corporation. During the visit, the coordinators had the opportunity to interact with both the student interns and company supervisors, discussing performance, work experiences, and areas for further development.
This initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to quality experiential learning and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by ensuring inclusive and practical learning opportunities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening collaboration between the academe and industry partners. It also highlights the importance of industry-academe collaboration in preparing students to become competent and responsible professionals in their respective fields.
