As their MAPEH Culminating Activity, our Grade 7 (SY2025-2026) learners took on the challenge of performing the Philippine folk dance Karatongโbut with a creative twist.
Divided into four groups, they performed the same folk dance, yet each group gave it their own interpretation based on their understanding, creativity, coordination, and teamwork.
More than learning the steps, this activity allowed our learners to appreciate Philippine culture while discovering that dance can be expressed in many different ways. Every movement, formation, rhythm, and interpretation became a reflection of their learning and creativity.
