Our PFC Adviser Ma’am Analee B. Andrada, led a meaningful Su***de Prevention Month session with our officers, old members, and peer educators. It was a space to pause and understand why listening matters and why being present can mean so much.

At the end of the day, we may not always know what someone is going through. But we can choose to notice. We can choose to listen.

𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝, and the 𝙋𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 is here to remind everyone that it’s okay to not be okay.

We all have our own battles. Sometimes, we laugh with our friends, attend our classes, and go through our day like everything is fine—but deep inside, we might be struggling.

So, this month, let’s check on our friends. Ask “𝙆𝙪𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖 𝙠𝙖?” and genuinely listen to the answer. You never know how much a simple conversation can mean to someone.

Let’s be more understanding, more patient, and kinder to one another. If things feel too heavy, please don’t be afraid to reach out. Talking to someone you trust is never something to be ashamed of.

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎 | 𝘼 𝙎𝙋𝘼𝘾𝙀 𝙏𝙊 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙉𝙀𝘾𝙏, 𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙉, 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝘽𝙀 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙍𝘿

The 𝙋𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 – 𝘾𝘼𝙋𝙎𝙐 𝙋𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙖 proudly joined the 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡’𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙖𝙜 𝘼𝙗𝙞-𝙖𝙗𝙞 2026, bringing the spirit of peer support closer to our fellow CAPSUnians. Through our Safe Space Booth, the club showcased its achievements, advocacy, and the different ways it can support students throughout their university journey.

More than just a booth, it became a place where students could learn, connect, share, and feel heard. As we welcome a new academic year, the Peer Facilitators Club remains committed to creating a campus where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported. 𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣.
