The incoming Grade 12 students of Dole Philippines School officially began their 80-hour work immersion program across various partner institutions and industries this week. The initiative marks a significant milestone in the studentsโ senior high school journey, providing them with firsthand exposure to real workplace environments and professional practices.
The work immersion program aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and actual work experience. Through this program, the SHS Dolefilites are given the opportunity to apply the principles, theories, and concepts they have learned in school to real-life workplace situations.
As part of the immersion, they will be assigned to different partner institutions, including Howard Hubbard Hospital, Dole Philippines Inc., and Mahintana Foundation. These institutions will provide them with valuable hands-on experience related to their academic tracks and future career aspirations.
