𝐁𝐅𝐏 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐏𝐒 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Polomolok urged the public to prioritize immediate action over recording during fire emergencies as it conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Fire Drill at Dole Philippines School (DPS) on September 26, 2026.

The activity, held at the DPS Pavilion at 9:00 a.m., aimed to equip students and staff with knowledge and practical skills in preventing and responding to fire hazards.

BFP personnel demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguishers through the T.P.A.S.S. method: Twist, Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep. They also demonstrated an alternative response through a bucket brigade, where participants passed buckets of water to help control a simulated fire.

During the seminar, BFP emphasized that taking action during an emergency should take priority over using phones or recording devices. They also discussed the bystander effect, in which people may hesitate to act when they expect others to respond instead.

The activity concluded with an evaluation of the school’s fire drill response, followed by a question-and-answer session where participants shared their learnings and concerns with BFP personnel.

Polomolok’s Elementary Football Boys capped their South Cotabato Provincial Athletic Association (SCPAA) Meet 2026 campaign with a silver-medal finish.

Adding to Polomolok’s provincial campaign was Marco Joaquin Gotan, a Grade 5C student of Dole Philippines School. He took the field alongside football players from Mt. Matutum Christian School, Inc., as part of the squad representing Polomolok.

Polomolok’s Football Boys capped their South Cotabato Provincial Athletic Association (SCPAA) Meet 2026 campaign with a bronze-medal finish, stringing together four victories across five matches and proving their mettle against some of the province’s competing municipalities.

The squad opened its campaign with a narrow 1–0 victory over Banga before carrying the momentum into its second match against Surallah, where Polomolok once again prevailed by the same scoreline.

The winning run continued in the third game as Polomolok edged Tupi, 1–0, securing three consecutive victories to open the competition.

Their march toward the finals, however, was halted in the semifinals. Sto. Niño defeated Polomolok, 1–0, sending the squad into the battle for bronze with one final opportunity to finish on the podium.

Polomolok answered the setback the best way it could. In the bronze-medal match against Lake Sebu, the team returned to the pitch with renewed determination and secured another 1–0 victory, sealing the municipality’s place on the SCPAA podium.

Adding to Polomolok’s provincial campaign was Axl Riel Condes, a Grade 10J student of Dole Philippines School and the team’s goalkeeper. He took the field alongside football players from St. Lorenzo as part of the squad representing Polomolok.

With four wins, one narrow defeat, and a bronze medal to show for their campaign, the Polomolok Football Boys leave the SCPAA Meet with a podium finish earned through consistency, composure, and a refusal to let one setback define their run.

Congratulations, Polomolok Football Boys! Your bronze medal is a product of discipline, teamwork, and relentless play.

𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫; 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬

Polomolok turned heads on the provincial futsal court, powering through the competition with an emphatic 9–1 demolition of Tantangan, a 1–1 draw against Sto. Niño, and a commanding 5–0 victory over Surallah to book a place in the championship game.

The strong campaign culminated in a hard-fought 2–1 championship clash against Norala at the Brgy. Lapuz Covered Court in Norala, earning Polomolok the silver medal and cementing one of the tournament’s most impressive runs.

For Zhea Prado, a Grade 11 player who helped steer Polomolok through its provincial campaign, the journey was anything but expected.

“It was unexpected, but I do not regret that we were able to reach this far,” Prado shared.

But while Polomolok’s provincial campaign has concluded, Prado’s season is far from over.

Following the championship, Prado was picked up by the winning Norala Futsal team to reinforce its lineup at the regional competition, alongside Alcella Norcos of Notre Dame–Siena College of Polomolok. The move gives Prado a new challenge: building chemistry with unfamiliar teammates while carrying the experience gained from Polomolok’s provincial run.

For Prado, the next level will demand more than individual skill. Motivation, perseverance, consistency in training, and communication will be crucial in adapting to the new team.

“Communication is the most important thing in our team,” Prado emphasized, highlighting the value of anticipation and coordination once the game begins.

From a 9–1 statement win to a 5–0 rout, a draw, and a thrilling championship battle, Polomolok’s silver-medal campaign proved that the team belonged among the province’s best.

And for Prado, the final whistle in Norala was not an ending.

It was a call-up to the next stage.

Ashley Jeaninne C. Villano, Grade 6E, delivered a strong performance at the Provincial Meet, winning two individual silver medals and helping her team capture two gold medals held at Duday Sita’s Catering, Norala, South Cotabato, September 10-11.

𝐂𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐀 𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇, 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐑𝐀𝐀 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓

Jehoshaphat Maximus G. Cabanting, Grade 6E, made waves at the South Cotabato Provincial Athletic Association Meet 2026 – Elementary Boys Swimming, powering his way to four gold medals and one silver to secure an SRAA qualifying spot, held at South Cotabato Sports Complex, Koronadal City, September 10-11.

Cabanting topped the 50m and 100m backstroke, while settling for silver in the 200m freestyle. He then helped his team dominate the 4x50m and 4x100m IM relays, both featuring the backstroke leg.
