As we entered the month of October, We’re also entering the month of RCY that tends to remain us to LEAD, SERVE, and to RESPOND

This month is a special time to recognize and celebrate the spirit of the Red Cross Youth, a community built on compassion, service, teamwork, and humanity. It reminds us that even as young individual, we have the power to create meaningful change through simple acts of kindness and our willingness to serve others.

As young individuals we tend to look for new opportunities, who decided to LEAD and to explore new skills to SERVE and protect the people who are needed RESPOND when facing calamities and disaster, As young people we should choose to step forward and make a difference

RCY Month is not only a celebration, but also an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to the values of the Red Cross. Through our activities, teamwork, and service, we continue to learn the importance of preparedness, responsibility, volunteerism, and leadership for our community.

The Red Cross Youth of Poblacion Polomolok National High School celebrates National CPR Day together with the BSP and GSP and the Students and Teachers of PPNHS.

This action to equip students, teachers, and the community with learning about CPR and lifesaving is not just for the rescuers, it's for everyone who wants to prevent and alleviating human suffering by promoting preparedness and saving lives.

And we want to thank you the South Cotabato Chapter, the PCRC, and those who volunteered to teach us about CPR and how to properly do it, and for making it enjoyable and meaningful.

The PPNHS Red Cross Youth, together with the BSP, GSP, teachers, principal, and school staff, played an important role in the successful conduct of the school-wide earthquake drill. With the readiness of the rescue team, medical team, transport team, and crowd control team, PPNHS continues to strengthen its commitment to safety and disaster preparedness, ensuring that every learner is informed, alert, and capable during emergencies. A huge thank you to MDRRMO, BFP, and BDRRMO for your invaluable support.

The collective effort and strong coordination of all participating teams led to PPNHS earning 2nd Place in the recent evaluation of the earthquake drill. This recognition reflects the school’s dedication, discipline, and preparedness in disaster response, motivating the entire school community to continue improving safety practices and emergency readiness.
