Student Council- Mt. Carmel School of Polillo

RECENTLY: Last week on Friday, students from different schools were invited and gathered at the Evacuation Centre for a seminar regarding Good Governance with the theme of “Lingkod ng Kabataan: Different Context, Common Aspirations”. They talked about what exactly governance and leadership is, as they were about to take part and be the LGU Municipal’s Representative for half a day.

The selected members of the Mt. Carmel Student Council (MCSC) that were invited was all given the opportunity to participate and collaborate with the town councils and other positions. They tackled with the council and took part in their session— as the morning ended, the students were given insights about how the local government officials work in their own respective departments.

"First & Last"

During his final First Friday Mass in town, Rev. Fr. Fidel Gonzales preached a remarkable homily about how conflicts are part of our lives no matter how advanced the world becomes. Most importantly, during these hardships, we should surrender ourselves to the Lord.

We, Carmelians, would like to extend our utmost gratitude for being part of your mission here in Polillo, Quezon. We wish you luck in the next chapters of your journey and mission to spread the word of God! God bless you, Fr! We will surely miss you.
