Bayanihan sa Hardin: Sama-samang Pagtatanim para sa Masustansyang Bukas

Sa pagtutulungan ng ating paaralan, ng mga kasapi ng 4Ps, at ng programang 4K, matagumpay nating naisagawa ang isang malawakang paglilinis at paghahanda ng lupang pagtataniman ngayong Agosto 16, 2026.

Ang gawaing ito ay naglalayong itaguyod ang nutrisyon at kalusugan ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagatan ng pagpapalakas ng Gulayan sa Paaralan.

Bukod dito, layunin din nitong hubugin ang kamalayan ng komunidad sa responsableng pangangalaga sa kapaligiran at pagpapatatag ng ugnayan sa pagitan ng tahanan, paaralan, at ng buong barangay para sa isang masaganang kinabukasan.

Mula Salita Hanggang Saya: Ang Bugtungan sa Silid-Aralan

Sino ang nagpapasaya sa silid nang walang salita kundi ang talas ng isip?

Bawat tanong, may hamon; bawat sagot, may tagumpay!

Ngayong Agosto 10-14, 2026, masayang naging bahagi ng aming pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ang tradisyunal na Bugtungan sa Loob ng Klase. Hindi lamang ito simpleng laro ng hulaan, kundi isang masayang paglalakbay sa lalim at sigla ng ating sariling wika. Sa pamamagitan ng patalasan ng isip at bayanihan sa pagsuporta sa bawat kaklase, muli nating pinatunayan na buhay na buhay ang ating kultura sa loob ng silid-aralan.

Ang gawaing ito ay naglalayong linangin ang kritikal na pag-iisip at pagiging malikhain ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng pagtuklas sa kahulugan ng mga talinghaga sa tradisyunal na bugtong. Hangarin din nitong palakasin ang pagpapahalaga at pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino sa isang masaya, interactive, at pangkulturang pamamaraan na nagtataguyod ng pagkakaisa sa loob ng silid-aralan.

Wika at Teknolohiya: Isang Hakbang Patungo sa Makabagong Bukas

Naging matagumpay ang opisyal na pagbubukas ng ating Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto 7, 2026, sa masigasig na pamumuno ni Ma'am Miraflor Correces. Kaisa ang ating paaralan sa pagtataguyod ng opisyal na tema ngayong taon: "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."

Layunin ng pagtitipong ito na paalabin ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika habang inaakap ang makabagong teknolohiya.

Sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang gawaing pampaaralan, nilalayon nitong ihanda ang mga mag-aaral na gamitin ang Filipino at AI bilang kapaki-pakinabang na kasangkapan sa pagtuklas ng dunong, pananaliksik, at pagpapayaman ng ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

​On August 5, 2026, Sabang Elementary School welcomed our dedicated project engineers, Barangay Chairman, and Barangay Councilors for a comprehensive joint site inspection and assessment under the KALAHI-CIDSS program.

​Together with representatives from the Department, the team evaluated existing school facilities and mapped out potential sub-projects designed to create safer, more vibrant, and modern learning spaces for our students.

Validation Day & Future Proofing!

Today, educators from across the district gathered at Sabang Elementary School for a massive collaborative session! We came together to validate the Opening Block assessment results for CRLA (Comprehensive Reading and Literacy Assessment), Phil-IRI (Philippine Informal Reading Inventory), and RMA (Rapid Mathematics Assessment) conducted back in June 2026.

​Beyond looking at the numbers, we rolled up our sleeves to finalize the 6th Year LSB (Local School Board) Plan—ensuring our strategic roadmap directly targets the actual learning needs of our students. Solid data, stronger plans, brighter futures for our learners!

Unlocking Potential: Driving Literacy and Numeracy Excellence through Data-Driven School Innovations

​On August 5, 2026, Sabang Elementary School presented a set of targeted school innovations grounded in the latest baseline assessments from the Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), and Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA).

The primary objective of these initiatives is to systematically bridge learning gaps identified in reading and mathematics, enhance foundational skills across Key Stages 1 and 2, and cultivate an engaging, supportive environment where every learner achieves functional literacy and numeracy.

Not all hero moments happen in the movies—today, we learned from the real ones!

​Earlier today, July 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM, our school conducted a joint Bomb Threat Emergency Simulation in partnership with PNP, BFP, and MDRRM response units!

​Before the simulation started, our advisers and PNP officers gave us a comprehensive orientation on how to stay calm, react swiftly, and stay safe during real-life emergencies.

​Safety isn't just a rule; it’s a mindset. Huge thanks to our local responders and teachers for keeping us prepared and protected!

​In the wake of the M5.5 earthquake last July 30 (10:11 PM), the Engineering Office and MMDRRMO immediately deployed teams to inspect structural integrity across school buildings.

​Every beam, column, and classroom was checked to guarantee a safe return for all our students and teachers. Big thanks to our frontliners on the ground!

​Our Key Stage 2 (KS2) learners brought their culinary creativity, team spirit, and healthy appetites to the kitchen for the Sabang ES Nutri-Cooking Contest held last July 31, 2026!

​From chopping fresh veggies to plating masterpieces, our young chefs showed us that nutritious food can be absolutely delicious.
