We proudly commend Kent Xyron M. San Jose, SELG President of Anawan Elementary School, for delivering an inspiring and heartfelt State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA) after the flag raising ceremony on Monday, July 14, 2025.
With confidence and clarity, Kent emphasized our core Filipino values as guiding principles of his leadership:

With the theme βSa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahatβ and sub-theme βFood at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!β, Anawan Elementary School proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 51st Nutrition Month this July! π
As part of our commitment to promote health and nutrition among learners and families, we launched various meaningful activities:

Parents, teachers, and learners united to repair and improve our schoolβs vegetable gardenβa step closer to food sustainability right in our backyard!
π©Ί Health & Dental Check-up (July 4, 2025)
Thanks to Nurse Jay Laraya and Dr. Zaida Marquita, our learners received important health and dental services. Reminders on proper hygiene and oral care were also given to promote daily healthy habits!
π Nutrition Month Kick-Off (July 11, 2025)
The school buzzed with color as learners paraded in vibrant nutrition-themed attire and headdresses. During the program, we also presented the exciting lineup of activities ahead:

Anawan Elementary School Joins Nationwide Earthquake Dril
Anawan Elementary School successfully participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) yesterday, June 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Personnel and learners actively took part in the drill, demonstrating their preparedness and understanding of earthquake safety procedures.
The NSED is a crucial initiative that aims to instill a culture of safety and preparedness among communities, especially in earthquake-prone areas like the Philippines. Through this drill, students and staff were able to practice the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique, identify evacuation routes, and assemble in designated safe zones.
Anawan Elementary School remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its students and staff through continuous drills and comprehensive disaster preparedness programs.

Dr. Leonora T. Mopera, our dedicated Public Schools District Supervisor of Polillo District, conducted Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) 2025 monitoring at Anawan Elementary School, showing unwavering support to schools amidst changing weather.
One of the key highlights was the meaningful dialogue with school head on the technical assistance needed for safe and smooth school operations and overall preparedness.

Isa sa malaking hamon ng pagbubukas ng paaralan ay ang supply ng malinis na tubig upang gamitin ng mga bata sa mga palikuran, handwashing, pagpapanatiling buhay ng mga halaman at paghahanda ng pagkain sa canteen.
Lubos ang pagpapasalamat ng Anawan Elementary School sa aming SPTA Chairperson, Ate Baby at Vice Chair, Kuya B**g at sa tulong mula sa barangay, Kuya Kugkog,sa serbisyo at oras na inilalaan ninyo buhat sa ilang araw na pagpaplano hanggang sa pagsasaayos ng supply ng tubig.
