The Youth Formation Division (YFD), in partnership with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), will host a 2-day virtual convention for the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program.

This year’s theme is “Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises for the Youth.”

Through the promotion of drug prevention measures, this activity seeks to increase youth participation in drug abuse prevention initiatives and public awareness of the harmful consequences of illegal drugs.

This will be held on July 26-27, 2022 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

As we celebrate World Food Day 2021, we are highlighting the pivotal role of young people in food and nutrition as we launch the Food and Nutrition Youth Network (FNYN), a group composed of youth advocates and youth organizations involved in food and nutrition related initiatives in the Philippines. The network’s aim is to connect and maximize the involvement and mobilization of the Filipino youth towards a more concerted approach in addressing nutrition and food systems-related issues.

Join us on our FNYN Launch and WFD 2021 Celebration on October 16, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM via Zoom. The event will consist of a choice learning session followed by the network launch.
