A beautiful representation of Waray culture, tradition, and playful courtship, brought to life by our wonderful party guests and SNPOSA Staff!

This traditional dance of courtship originates from the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines, particularly among the Waray people. It is performed as a playful interaction between a man and a woman, portraying the flirtatious and lively courtship movements of a rooster and a hen, Pineda (2024).

Arnold Basio, a Grade 12 student, demonstrated a heartwarming act of honesty and integrity by voluntarily turning over a Redmi cellphone he found at Baras Bridge, Barangay Baras, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar.

This simple yet meaningful act of his, served as a reminder that being honest is choosing to do what is right, even when no one is watching.

His actions show that even a small act of honesty can make a difference. Sometimes, the simplest choices can reflect the kind of person we choose to be. ✨
