Happy, happy birthday, Mam Avic!

Today is a celebration not just of your life, but of the incredible light you bring into the lives of everyone around you. As our principal, you lead with wisdom, strength, and grace but what truly sets you apart is the kindness and sincerity that radiate from you. You are beautiful not only on the outside, but even more so within your compassion, humility, and dedication which makes you a rare and wonderful person.

Thank you for being a steady guide, an inspiring mentor, and a mother figure to so many. Your leadership doesn’t rely on authority alone; it thrives because you genuinely care. You listen, you encourage, and you uplift the people entrusted to your care. Under your leadership, we feel valued, motivated, and proud to give our best.

May this special day fill you with joy as bright as the smiles you bring to others. May you continue to shine with the same warmth and elegance that make you unforgettable. And may God bless you with abundant health, peace, strength, and happiness in the year ahead. You deserve all the love and celebration today and always.

Wishing you a birthday as wonderful and remarkable as you are, Mam Avic. May your heart be filled with gratitude, and may all the beautiful things you give to the world return to you a hundredfold.

Enjoy your day, Ma’am Cuervo!

You are deeply appreciated and truly loved by your SJKHS FAMILY . 🥂💐🎉

🧠 2nd Periodical Test Alert! 📚

Get ready to flex those brain muscles – it's testing time again! 💪✏️
Here are your test survival tips (with a dash of wit):

🕖 Be Early – Set your alarms like your grades depend on it (because they kinda do).
👕 Wear Complete Type A Uniform – If you're going to slay the test, do it in style (and in full uniform).
📌 Bring All Required Materials – Pens, pencils, erasers… and maybe a lucky charm or two.
😌 Sleep Well, Eat Right – Your brain runs better on sleep and snacks, not stress and soda.
🔕 No Cheating – Eyes on your own paper. Be the main character, not the sidekick in someone else’s story.

ADVISORY:

Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes in DepEd National Capital Region Public Schools on October 13-14, 2025

In light of the increasing incidence of influenza-like illnesses among learners and personnel and the recent series of earthquakes affecting various parts of the country, the Department of Education – National Capital Region (DepEd NCR) issues this advisory to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the health, safety, and structural security of all public schools.

To provide time for disinfection, sanitation, and building inspection, all face-to-face classes in public schools in the National Capital Region are suspended on October 13–14, 2025.

During this period, schools shall implement Alternative Delivery Modalities (ADM), either synchronous or asynchronous, as provided under DepEd Order No. 54, s. 2012, to avoid disruption of learning. All schools are directed to utilize the suspension period to:

a. Conduct cleaning and disinfection of classrooms and common areas;
b. Carry out structural and safety inspections of school buildings and facilities;
c. Prepare for the facilitation or implementation of drills on earthquake preparedness and other emergency protocols; and
d. Reinforce health and safety practices among learners, personnel, and parents.

Furthermore, this advisory reinforces DepEd Memorandum OUOPS-2025-06294, emphasizing earthquake preparedness and response procedures, including coordination with Division Engineers and Local Government Units (LGUs) for inspection and mitigation actions.

Private schools are also highly encouraged to observe and conduct these measures.

For everyone’s guidance and compliance.
