She knows some of the letters in alphabet ...can't read helper sound and cvc words that time ( she's 8 years old) when they came last May 2019. But, I understand because of her situation. I started with vowels followed by consonants.....identifying pictures... half of the letters in the alphabet i stopped ....giving her activity/ies everyday about our lesson she cant answer it most of the time ( still I understand ) So i decided to start again but in Filipino naman. Mas madali para sa kanya... when we are done in Filipino. Its time to introduce the helper sound since she can read it the consonant helper sound in Tagalog (pantig)

And before the school year ends...she can read the helper sound..CVC words..phrases..and sentence. Which I am happy for her 👏👍. Hoping that she will attend her regular class next school year.

Different kids ...different attitude... with learning disability or not....as educator ,we should know what strategy/ies we will do to understand us and to help them so they will learn from US.
