Liceo Virgen de los Remedios (Placer), Inc. extends our heartfelt gratitude to the Diocesan Schools Top Management headed by Rev. Fr. Gil G. Cordova, President and Superintendent, and to Mrs. Eleonor L. Torres, Diocesan Schools Finance Officer, for the additional budget allotted for the food of our delegation.

We also thank all parents and guardians for your unwavering support, all our athletes for your dedication and fighting spirit, and all our coaches for your guidance and commitment.

Catholic educators and school leaders from across Bicol gathered in Daet, Camarines Norte, BACS–CEAP V Regional Assembly, centered on the theme: "Newness in Catholic Education: Charting a Constellation of Hope."

The assembly was a meaningful gathering of faith, mission, and collaboration. From Bishop Herman Abcede’s call to remember the people behind the mission, to Fr. Wilmer Tria’s challenge to embrace technology without surrendering human creativity and community, educators were invited to renew their shared mission with courage and hope.

Representing our school was our School Principal, Mr. Rogeto J. Enoc, Jr., together with fellow School Administrators under the Diocese of Masbate - MACEA.

As Catholic education in Bicol continues its journey, our schools commit to shine not as isolated stars, but together as a constellation of hope - rooted in Christ and dedicated to the learners and communities we serve.

AUGUST 14, 2026 | LICEO VIRGEN DE LOS REMEDIOS (PLACER), INC. JOINS THE FIRE SQUARE CHALLENGE 2026

Our Grade 10 Learners proudly participated in the Fire Square Challenge and BIDA sa FIRE SQUARE Road Show at the Moises-Adam Sports Complex, Placer, Masbate.

This activity, organized by the Local Youth Development Office - Placer in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Bureau of Fire Protection, was part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration.

During the event, our students engaged in hands-on demonstrations on basic life support, emergency response, and fire safety. They also had the opportunity to learn about firefighting equipment and the roles of our BFP personnel in ensuring community safety.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the BFP Placer, LYDO Placer, DILG, and all organizers for providing this valuable learning experience to our youth.
