Preparing Today, Protecting Tomorrow

Knowledge and preparedness can save lives.

Mananig National High School conducted an Orientation on the Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children and Disaster Preparedness Safety Tips, equipping our learners with practical knowledge on DRRM, early warning systems, family preparedness, children’s protection during emergencies, fire safety, and proper earthquake and fire drill procedures.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers—Ms. Rosemarie Ambong, LDRRM Officer III; Ms. Fatima G. Lagayon, MSWDO; FO1 April Dawn F. Mamalio; and FO1 Roger A. Galwat, Jr.—for sharing their time, expertise, and valuable lessons with our learners.

We also thank the LDRRMO, MSWDO, Bureau of Fire Protection, and all participating agencies and personnel for helping us strengthen a culture of safety and preparedness in our school

Being prepared is not just about knowing what to do—it is about being ready to act, ready to help, and ready to protect.

When the Flame Was Lit, the Games Began

A flame rose against the mountain sky, marking not just the opening of the Mananig NHS Intramurals 2026–2027, but the beginning of another journey filled with courage, unity, friendship, and school spirit.

As the torch was carried and the flame was lit, it reminded us of the passion and determination burning in every learner. On the playing field, our learners discover that sports are not only about winning. They learn to work together, respect their opponents, accept defeat with grace, and celebrate victory with humility.

Beyond the scores and medals are lessons that matter even more—confidence gained, friendships strengthened, and memories created that will remain long after the games are over.

May this flame continue to burn in every learner’s heart, inspiring them to play with passion, compete with respect, and grow together.
