Personnel at Stakeholders, Muling Nagtipon para sa Friday Kumustahan

Isang sabay na pagpupulong ang isinagawa sa Cawagayan National High School (CNHS) nitong Biyernes, Agosto 7, 2026, na nakatuon sa pagpapabuti ng pag-uugali ng mga mag-aaral at sa pagpapatatag ng samahan ng mga magulang at g**o.

Pinangunahan ng Punongg**o na si G. Joel Bayle ang "Kumustahan" ng mga g**o kada antas at silid-aralan. Naging pangunahing pokus ng talakayan ang pagrepaso sa iba't ibang uri ng misbehaviors o hindi angkop na gawi ng mga estudyante. Sa pamamagitan ng palitan ng obserbasyon, nagbalangkas ang mga g**o ng mga alternatibong estratehiya at solusyon upang mapanatili ang kaayusan, disiplina, at masigasig na kapaligiran sa pag-aaral.

Habang nagaganap ang talakayan ng mga g**o, isinagawa naman sa kabilang silid-aralan ang oryentasyon at pagpaplano ng School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni G. Douglas P. Mangida.

Naging highlight ng SPTA meeting ang pagbibigay-linaw sa probisyo ng DepEd Order No. 013, s. 2022. Binigyang-diin sa oryentasyon ang wastong komposisyon ng Board of Directors (BOD) na binubuo ng 15 opisyal—kung saan dalawang-katlo (2/3) ang nakalaan para sa kinatawan ng mga magulang, habang ang isang-katlo (1/3) naman ay para sa mga g**o.

Inisa-isa rin ng pamunuan ng SPTA ang mga tungkulin at responsibilidad (duties and functions) ng Executive Committee upang matiyak ang mas maayos na pagpapatakbo ng mga proyekto at sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ng komunidad para sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral ng CNHS.

Nagtapos ang naturang pagpupulong na may malinaw na resolusyon para sa mas mahigpit na paggabay sa disiplina ng mga estudyante.

Government offices and classes at all levels in Kalinga are suspended today, August 6, 2026, following the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 122 by Malacañang amid the continued heavy rains brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon.

The memorandum, signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto by authority of the President, was issued upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Kalinga is among the provinces covered by the suspension, along with the National Capital Region and several other areas in Luzon affected by persistent rainfall.

Despite the suspension, government agencies responsible for the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other essential public services are directed to continue their operations to ensure the safety and welfare of the public.

The Palace also emphasized that local chief executives in other areas not covered by the memorandum may still implement localized suspension of classes and government work based on prevailing weather conditions and existing laws and regulations.

Meanwhile, the suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective management.

Governor James S. Edduba continue to advise residents of Kalinga to monitor official weather updates and heed warnings from local disaster risk reduction and management offices as Tropical Storm Maymay and the enhanced southwest monsoon continue to bring heavy rains across parts of Northern Luzon.
