Day 1 was filled with new faces, familiar smiles, exciting activities, and memories worth keeping. The campus came alive as Technologists gathered together to celebrate, connect, and welcome a new beginning.

The energy of the ๐‚๐ž๐›๐ฎ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐–๐ž๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž: ๐๐€๐๐€๐†๐“๐€๐†๐๐Ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” officially rose yesterday, August 17, as we moved into the fourth part of our first-day celebrationโ€”the ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ฏ๐จ.

Serving as the official opening of this yearโ€™s Week of Welcome, the Opening Salvo brought the CTUโ€“Pinamungajan Campus community together as students, faculty, and staff gathered to mark the beginning of a new academic journey. It was a moment of shared excitement, renewed connections, and anticipation for the activities and experiences that await throughout the week.

The celebration was officially opened by our Campus Director, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‘๐ž๐๐ฃ๐ข๐ž ๐ƒ. ๐€๐ซ๐œ๐š๐๐ข๐จ, whose presence and message helped set the tone for the festivities. His words welcomed the campus community and emphasized the importance of coming together as one community as we begin another meaningful chapter at CTUโ€“Pinamungajan Campus.

More than simply opening a week-long celebration, the activity served as a reminder that a new academic year is an opportunity to build new friendships, strengthen existing bonds, embrace our shared identity, and create memories that will become part of our campus story.

Guided by the theme, โ€œ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ ๐ž, ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ž๐ฐ ๐๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ,โ€ PANAGTAGBO 2026 set the stage for a week dedicated to welcoming everyone back, celebrating our campus community, and inspiring every student to look forward to what lies ahead.

From familiar faces returning to campus to new ones beginning their journey, the Opening Salvo marked more than just the start of an eventโ€”it marked the beginning of another chapter filled with opportunities, connections, and unforgettable moments.

Before the celebrations continued, the CTUโ€“Pinamungajan Campus community took a meaningful pause yesterday, August 17, 2026, to gather in prayer through the celebration of the ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ.

Amid the excitement of the first day of the ๐‚๐ž๐›๐ฎ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐–๐ž๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž: ๐๐€๐๐€๐†๐“๐€๐†๐๐Ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, students, faculty, and staff came together in a shared moment of prayer and thanksgiving. It was a chance to step away from the lively atmosphere, reflect on the journey ahead, and place the new academic year in the hands of faith.

The Holy Mass became more than a part of the dayโ€™s program. It offered the campus community a quiet space to express gratitude for the opportunity to begin anew, seek guidance for the challenges ahead, and ask for strength as another year of learning, growth, and discovery unfolds.

In coming together for prayer, the CTUโ€“Pinamungajan community was reminded that every new beginning carries with it both hopes and responsibilities. As students embark on another chapter of their academic journey, faith remains a source of courage, direction, and hope.

With renewed hearts and a shared sense of purpose, the community continued the first day of PANAGTAGBO 2026โ€”carrying with them the spirit of unity and the hope for a meaningful year ahead.

Yesterday we didnโ€™t just meet our guides โ€” we celebrated with them.

The faculty and staff who will walk with us through lessons, projects, failures, and victories showed us another side of themselves. They werenโ€™t just names on an org chart. They were performers, dancers, and cheerleaders who welcomed us with so much energy and heart.

From the powerful performances of our Performing Arts to the first time we all sang and danced to the new CTU Jingle, the energy was unforgettable. And the highlight? Seeing our very own CTU-Pinamungajan faculty and staff join the dance floor with us. Teachers and staff who usually stay behind the scenes to prepare our classrooms and keep things running, stepped forward to dance, laugh, and celebrate Panagtagbo 2026 with us.

They are mentors who will challenge us, listeners who will hear us, and supporters who will believe in us. Teachers who stay late to prepare. Staff who come in early to make sure everything runs. And now, faculty and staff who are not afraid to get on stage and welcome us like family.

All of this, so that we can learn in a safe and caring space. Their work is often behind the scenes, but its impact is in every part of our school day.

Letโ€™s meet them halfway. Letโ€™s respect their time, appreciate their effort, and make their work meaningful by giving our best. Because when students and staff move as one โ€” in class, in projects, and even in dance โ€” thatโ€™s when a school becomes a home.

Yesterday, we started with presence. Attendance is more than signing names. Itโ€™s saying โ€œIโ€™m hereโ€ to your classmates, to your teachers, and to the year ahead. Itโ€™s choosing to begin, even when the future feels big and uncertain. Every student present today is proof that we are ready to try.

Then we raised the flag. In that quiet moment, voices joined and hearts aligned. The Flag Ceremony reminded us of who we are and what we stand for. Respect. Unity. Pride. Itโ€™s easy to forget these in the busyness of school life, but today we remembered. We stood as one.

This is the foundation of Panagtagbo. Not just events and activities, but values lived out loud. Discipline in showing up. Honor in how we carry ourselves. And hope in what we can build together this school year. Let this be our first step, and let it be a strong one.
