BUILDING A SAFER SCHOOL, ONE STEP AT A TIME!πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

As part of our continuous participation in the National Resilience Month 2026, Quisao Integrated National High School successfully conducted a School Hazard Mapping Activity spearheaded by our dedicated School DRRM Coordinator, Ma'am Alma C. Lelina, together with the hardworking Student Watching and Hazard Mapping Team.
On July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, the team carefully inspected every school building and surrounding area to identify existing and potential hazards that could affect the safety of our learners, teachers, school personnel, and visitors. Every observation made during the activity is a proactive step toward preventing accidents and creating a safer, more resilient learning environment for everyone.

Why does Hazard Mapping matter?

Hazard Mapping is more than just identifying unsafe areas it is about protecting lives. By recognizing possible dangers such as damaged structures, electrical hazards, slippery walkways, falling objects, fire risks, and flood-prone areas, the school can immediately implement corrective and preventive measures before these hazards become emergencies.
A well-prepared school is a resilient school. Through proactive risk assessment, hazard identification, and proper planning, we can minimize injuries, protect school facilities, ensure uninterrupted learning, and strengthen our disaster preparedness.
At Quisao Integrated National High School, we believe that preparedness begins with awareness, and resilience starts with every member of the school community.
Together, let us continue to identify risks, prevent disasters, and build a safer, stronger, and more resilient future for all.

In line with the celebration of National Resilience Month 2026, Quisao Integrated National High School, through its School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team, successfully conducted a Seminar on the Basic Concepts of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) on July 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
The learning session was expertly facilitated by the Tanay Mountaineers Inc., headed by its Founder, Engr. Carlos E. Inofre, together with TM John Lloyd Tica and TM Rowena Dala. The seminar was attended by 16 Girl Scouts, 10 Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, 11 Junior High School and Senior High School teachers, together with the School DRRM Coordinator, Ma'am Alma C. Lelina. Also present to show their unwavering support were our Head Teachers, Ma'am Erizza DR. TeraΓ±a and Ma'am Magdalena Bandola.

Inofre and the Tanay Mountaineers Inc. for sharing their time, expertise, and valuable experiences that empowered both our learners and teachers with life-saving knowledge.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management education is more than just learning how to respond to emergenciesβ€”it is about developing awareness, responsibility, and preparedness. By equipping our learners and educators with the right knowledge and skills, we foster a culture of safety that helps protect lives, reduces disaster risks, and strengthens the resilience of our entire school community.
As we continue to observe National Resilience Month, let us all remember that preparedness is a shared responsibility, and resilience begins with education.
Together, we prepare. Together, we protect. Together, we build a resilient nation.

πŸ“’ PAALALA SA LAHAT NG MAG-AARAL, MAGULANG, AT MGA KAWANI NG QUISAO INTEGRATED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

πŸ“’ DEPED ADVISORY: GADGETS ARE RESTRICTED DURING CLASS HOURS

DID YOU KNOW?

To help maintain a safe, focused, and motivating learning environment, the Department of Education (DepEd) reminds all learners, parents, and school personnel that the use of gadgets during classes or instructional hours is prohibited, in accordance with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 or the Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment (ESMLE).

πŸ“± Electronic devices may only be used when:

They are required for educational or instructional purposes as directed by the teacher; or
They are needed during emergency situations.

The Department also encourages schools to strengthen information and advocacy campaigns that promote:
βœ… Responsible use of digital devices
βœ… Safe and ethical internet use
βœ… Compliance with school policies on gadget use

By following these guidelines, we can create a learning environment where students stay focused, engaged, safe, and respectful while using technology responsibly.

Let's work togetherβ€”learners, parents, teachers, and the entire school communityβ€”to support a safe, disciplined, and distraction-free learning environment.
